How to Sign Your Master
Promissory Note
Studentloans.gov
Step 1: Go to www.studentloans.gov and Log In using your
FSA username and password.
Step 2: Select Complete a Master Promissory Note
Step 3: Select the type of Direct Loan you would like to receive
Step 4: Fill in your information
Step 5: Fill in your references
It is recommended that your first reference be a parent/guardian who you
live with and the second reference be a close family member who doesn’t
have the same permanent address as you.
Step 6: Read all pages of the Terms and Conditions
Once you have read the terms
and conditions, review and
sign your Master Promissory
Note. Missouri State will be
informed that you signed your
MPN within 24-48 hours and
shortly after that, your loans
will be dispersed onto your
account.
