Inovarion recherche son futur Directeur des Opérations dans le cadre du développement de sa spin-off dans
le domaine du Quantified-Self.
Nous recherchons avant tout une personnalité ayant le goût du challenge, capable de gérer le développement
industriel d’un nouveau produit et d’accompagner sa mise en place et sa croissance en France comme à
l’international.
Au delà de sa maitrise du retail et de sa capacité à nouer des partenariats, il devra déceler les problématiques
techniques et juridiques liées à la conduite de ce projet. Fin négociateur, curieux, réactif, son expérience dans
les domaines du quantified self, des objets connectés ou d’univers connexes sera un réel atout.
Notre activité:
Inovarion est une société de biotechnologie créée en 2013. Inovarion a développé des « trackers »
d’activité métabolique permettant de suivre en temps réel sur votre smartphone votre métabolisme,
de prédire son évolution et ainsi d’adapter votre mode de vie en fonction de vos objectifs (perte de
graisse, prise de masse musculaire…). Chaque individu peut ainsi identifier les aliments et activités
physiques les plus adaptés à ses spécificités génétiques et métaboliques.
Inovarion a été Lauréat de la Fête des Services 2014, dans la catégorie “Services Innovants et Créatifs”,
Lauréat du Challenge Datavenue organisé par Orange et finaliste du Grand Prix Business Angels de la
Création organisé par Investessor. Le projet a également été récompensé par le concours d’aide à la création
d’entreprise innovante BPI France en 2013.
L’équipe:
Cyril Torre est un entrepreneur, docteur en cancérologie de l’Université Paris Sud. Il étudie ensuite
l’entrepreneuriat au sein de l’Ecole Centrale (Paris) et HEC (Paris). Il a fondé deux sociétés innovantes
lauréates notamment du prix de l’innovation de l’Université Paris Sud en 2010, et du concours de création
d’entreprise innovante OSEO en 2011, 2012 et 2013.
Nicolas Chignard est Maître de Conférences à l’Université Pierre et Marie Curie. Après un doctorat en
Physiologie et Physiopathologie Cellulaire et Moléculaire obtenu en 2003 à l’UPMC, il est chercheur dans le
Département de Microbiologie de l’Université du Michigan (MI, USA). Expert scientifique pour des journaux à
comité de lecture et pour des fondations à but non lucratif, il est auteur de 36 communications et de 5
chapitres de livre.
Dominique Hordé a évolué à de nombreux postes de direction, notamment dans le secteur de la santé. Elle a
été Directrice commerciale d’une société de relations publiques (PR International), ainsi que DGA d’une startup portail internet (Eurimed), puis responsable de la communication du GIP-DMP (Dossier médical
personnel). Dominique Hordé possède par ailleurs une solide expérience de l’entrepreneuriat et du
recrutement puisqu’elle a été co-fondatrice d’un cabinet de chasse de têtes.
Matthieu Sergent Ferreri est médecin dans le service d'endocrinologie du CHU de Toulouse. Il a notamment
travaillé à la prise en charge de patients obèses à l’hôpital universitaire USC (Los Angeles). Passionné de
technologies et de systèmes informatiques, il est à l'origine du développement de plusieurs applications
médicales.

Inovarion is hiring a COO to develop a spin-off in the Quantified -Self industry.
We are looking for an individual with an appetite for challenges, able to manage the industrial
development of a new product, support its implementation and growth both in France and
internationally.
A strong experience in retail is awaited, together with an ability to develop partnerships and to identify
technical and legal issues arising during the course of the project. The candidate should have high
negotiating skills, be open-minded and responsive. An experience in Quantified-self, Internet of Things
or related universe will be appreciated.
What we do:
Inovarion is a biotechnology company created in 2013 that has developed metabolic activity trackers.
These trackers help you monitor in real time and directly on your smartphone your metabolic activity.
Thus, you can predict your metabolism evolution and adapt your lifestyle to fit your goals (fat loss, gain in
muscle mass ...). With our product, every individual can identify food and physical activities best suited
for its genetic and metabolic characteristics.
The project developed by Inovarion was selected as best « Innovative and Creative Service » by the jury of
« la Fête des Services 2014». Inovarion was also awarded by the Challenge Datavenue organized by Orange,
and was a finalist of the Creation Grand Prix of Business Angels organized by Investessor. The project was a
prize-winner of the French national contest 2013 for the creation innovative technology companies created by
the French Ministry of Research in partnership with BPI France.
Who we are:
Cyril Torre is an entrepreneur who holds a PhD in Cancer Science from University of Paris Sud. He studied
entrepreneurship in Ecole Centrale (Paris) and HEC (Paris). He founded two companies that received the
Innovation Award of the University of Paris Sud in 2010 and the OSEO innovative business creation
competitions award in 2011, 2012 and 2013.
Nicolas Chignard is an Associate Professor at the University Pierre and Marie Curie (UPMC). After a PhD in
Cellular and Molecular Pathophysiology obtained at UPMC, he became a researcher in the Department of
Microbiology at the University of Michigan (MI, USA). Expert for high impact international journals and for nonprofit foundations, he is also the author of 36 scientific communications and 5 book chapters.
Dominique Hordé has evolved in many C-level positions, particularly in the health industry. She was the Chief
Commercial Officer of a public relations company (PR International) and Managing Director of a start-up
developing an internet portal (Eurimed). She was also in charge of communications of the GIP-DMP (French
personal medical record). Dominique Hordé has an extensive experience of recruitment, as she was cofounder of a headhunting firm.
Matthieu Sergent Ferreri is a MD practicing in the Department of Endocrinology of the University of Toulouse
Hospital. He has gained experience in the management of obese patients in USC Hospital (Los Angeles).
Passionate about technologies and computer systems, he led the development of medical applications.
