Current works
• Cleaning up optimization code to ease use for
many videos
– streamlining the process, to make it easier to use
for Emma, and easier to maintain, change, and
update
• In addition, Emma updated her code, so I am
working on a tighter integration of the two
parts
What next?
• Use new videos to get more accurate and
more consistent parameters
– Include measured parameters so there are fewer
variables than previous calibrations
• Assist Emma with Dakota as needed
– Mainly Expect to assist with interface to simulator
– Will adjust my role as needed
Side Tasks
(On hold for now)
• Investigate additional end effectors for
actuator
• Investigate which parameters (frictions, etc.)
create the most uncertainty using Dakota
• Learning Dakota
– Lower Priority
