FY09-10 Pillar Goal Metrics MUSC Library Excellence People Service Quality Growth Finance As we begin our pursuits in Excellence – we will be striving to reach or exceed the top quartile in most key areas (some yet unmeasured as indicated below). Once benchmark data are available, we will establish step goals to move us upwards at all times. Maintain baseline faculty/staff satisfaction rate of 95% (based on August 2009 university survey) 75% of faculty and staff feel good performance is recognized Create a tool to measure satisfaction levels for services and resources by March 2010 Impact the health and wellness of South Carolinians by providing access to consumer health information as measured by number of outreach activities and number of access requests to web-based resources Develop a metric for measuring the value of Library support for grants & research, including use of resources and expertise Continue designing the Learning Commons to provide improved learning and collaboration areas and services for students and faculty Maximize the University’s access to information resources as measured by: •providing 85 % of collection in online format •98% up time for computer networks •95 % of e-journals and other e-collections available on & off campus Support the MUSC global initiative by developing an infrastructure platform for curriculum delivery. Increase visibility of MUSC scholarship and research, both current and historic by greater awareness and participation with the MEDICA institution repository as measured by 80% growth in the number of items preserved Budget to Actual Actual expenses will not exceed any revised budgets for FY 2009 Increase the dollar value of Library collaborations with other state institutions by 10%.
