4. You need to substantiate your claims. For
example – if you say that the student’s parents
have assets, you must provide proof or
evidence of that. If there is no proof, we cannot
take it into consideration
Documents
What do you think you should send?
What we need
• Personal identification documents
• Evidence of prior employment and study
• Details of any study plan or future
intentions
• Evidence of funds for the study
Check
1. What are the four major areas you should
cover in each application
2. Why do we ask for a study plan?
3. What are the MINIMUM requirements for
funds in each application?
What to do
What to do
1. Make sure all requirements in the
application are met
2. Make sure any documents you would like
back are marked, and an extra copy
provided for us to keep
3. When we write to you, respond quickly
4. Make sure all documents in Vietnamese are
accompanied by an English translation from
an independent and certified translation
company
Original documents
1. If you send them, send a copy as well
2. Send them in a separate envelope
3. Do not send piles of the same papers
What not to do
Helping each other
1. Most of the policy information you will need
is on our website. Please look there before
you call us
2. Constant requests for updates takes our
time and energy away from getting the
application finalised for you
3. Only have one point of contact. Other
people contacting us for you gets confusing
and leads to miscommunication
4. Please quote the application number if you
contact us
