One half credit will be earned for each semester’s work successfully completed in
each area. A maximum of 2 credits per year can be earned through successful
completion of the offered electives.
“A” HOUR
If a student is interested in A
hour you must attach the A
hour contract signed by both
student and parent/guardian!
“A” Hour begins at 7:00 am
and transportation is NOT
provided!
Honor’s Testing
Current GPS students interested in testing
for honors classes need to test at their
current school this spring.
Students who are not currently enrolled in
GPS that are interested in taking the honors
test can sign up to take it on May 12th @ 8
AM.
If a student misses the honors test for any
reason, we do have an honors test at
Highland Junior High School on July 28th at 9
AM.
PRIDE PROGRAM


Write down class work and homework
each hour in PRIDE Planner.
Each student will be expected to be:
On time to class
 Prepared with required materials to participate
 Prepared with completed homework


A student who is unsuccessful is required
to attend 9th hour.
