• Please Note: We are still continuing our classical approach to
teaching while incorporating technology as an added tool.
Homework Procedures
• All homework assignments are written on the board and
on the classroom website. Students are expected to
record homework assignments in student planners,
along with any incomplete class work due the next day.
• If a student is unable to complete their homework or
unfinished class work, they may be granted a one-day
extension only if a written parent note is given to the
teacher on the day the assignment(s) were due.
(This policy is in effect as long as it is not overused.)
• Students are highly encouraged to use their Study Hall
time wisely in order to get a jump on their homework.
Classroom Rules
1. Class starts at the bell. Line up and be on
time.
2. Remain quiet while others are speaking.
3. Don’t be creepy. Keep your hands and feet
to yourself.
4. We are family. Help each other. Work
together. Two heads are better than one.
5. Clean up after yourself.
Discipline Policy
• If a student is disruptive to teacher and/or other students, the
consequences are as follows:
• First Offense – Student will receive a warning and told why he/she
received a warning.
• Second Offense - Student will conference with teacher during Study
Hall to resolve behavioral issue. Parent is notified.
• Third Offense - Student will receive an after school detention and a
teacher/parent conference will be requested.
• Fourth Offense – Student will receive an after school detention and a
teacher/parent conference will be requested.
• Fifth Offense – Student will receive a Saturday School detention.
