Library Rules

 The library rules are the statements for the controlling to staff members and users. Library rules help to achieving all the objectives of library.

Objectives of Library Rules

 Control all activities of staff and users.

 Aware the rights and responsibilities of staff and users.

 Provide right guideline for the critical problems.

 Fully use of available resource.

Library Rules

 Library hours  Please sign your name, date, time and teacher.

 Speed limit of walking.

 Do not disturb others.

 Do not put feet on furniture.

 Respect books and library equipment.

 Smoking, eating and drinking are strongly prohibited.

Library Rules

          All the written formality should be completed for the library membership. Use a shelf marker Books will not issue-return without reader card and ID card.

The books should be returned only on the circulation desk. Materials must be returned in good condition or there will be a replacement charge.

The reference books, manuscripts, periodicals, castes etc do not issue.

Rules related with library committee and authority.

Only library personnel is allowed behind the issue desk.

Current newspapers are kept for two weeks and then discarded.

Reservation of books.

Library Rules

       Checking by gatekeeper.

Hard punishment for thief. Do not damage reading material and library properties. Students who lose or damage library materials will be paid for the replacement cost.

No cell phone use allowed in the library.

Library computers may only be used for academic search. No games or word processing allowed.

The Library staff should not find them in chat rooms, games, shopping sites, or any other inappropriate sites.

Principles for Library Rules

 Library rules should be short and clear.

 Language should be easy and polite.  Library rules should be flexible.

 Use of reading material should be increased by library rules.

 Library rules should be limited.

 Library rules should be applied similarly to all users.
