Objective 1: ACCESS TO SERVICES – Decided only on the basis of relative
need.
1. ACCESS – Right to access health and community
services.
Objective 3: EFFICIENT & EFFECTIVE MANAGEMENT – that consumers
receive the benefit of well-planned, efficient & accountable management.
2. SAFETY – Right to be safe and free from abuse.
3. QUALITY – Right to quality service.
Objective 4: COORDINATED, PLANNED & RELIABLE SERVICE DELIVERY –
consumer receives coordinated services that are planned, reliable and meet their
specific ongoing needs.
4. RESPECT – Right to be treated with respect.
Objective 2: INFORMATION & CONSULTATION – informed about rights &
responsibilities and consulted about any changes.
5. INFORMATION – Right to be informed.
Objective 5: PRIVACY, CONFIDENTIALITY & ACCESS TO PERSONAL
INFORMATION – ensure that privacy and confidentiality are respected,
and…access to personal information.
7. PRIVACY – Right to privacy and confidentiality.
Objective 6: COMPLAINTS & DISPUTES – each consumer has access to fair
and equitable procedures dealing with complaints / disputes.
8. COMMENT – Right to comment and / or complain.
Objective 7: ADVOCACY – each consumer has access to an advocate of his or
her choice.
6. PARTICIPATION – Right to actively participate.
