Basic Animation
What you need to try is in the yellow

Slide Transitions
• Sets the way a slide will
appear on the screen.
• Right-click on the slide and
select “Slide Transition”
Try modify the transition
of this slide.
Change the “speed” and
“sound” too.
Text Animation
Caution: It is very easy to get carried away with
text animation. Your animations can’t be more
interesting then what you’re trying to say.
To apply a text animation to a
slide, select Slide Design on
the menu, then select
Animation Schemes.
Try a few animation
schemes from each
category on this slide.
Object Animation
• Right-Click on an object
and select custom
animation.
• Click the Add Effect
button on the right to see
your options

Try at least 4 animation effect
from each category. Apply
them to the happy face
below.

Dora and Boots need your help to help
them get to the Music
box! Apply

Paths to move them along the path.

Apply the same cool slide
transition to every slide in the
presentation.

1. Apply entrance animations to these four
points.
2. The first point should appear when you
click the mouse.
3. The other points should automatically
appear one at a time.
4. The time between each point should be
about 5 seconds.
Create a little cartoon car crash. You can
have two cars hit each other or a car hit a
wall. (Try out some of the sound effects!)
Practice 4
Use the drawing tools to make a Turkey.
Then apply entrance animations so that
the turkey parts come together one at a
time.
