Migration & Move
Migration and move occurs when an end user changes
to a new Local Service Provider and moves to a new
physical address at the same time.

Migration & Move Timeline



Prior to December 2001 – Two LSR’s required for
migrate and move activity.
On December 1, 2001 – Manual interim process
implemented, allowing migrate and move activity
on a single LSR.
On November 18, 2002 (IMA 11.0) – New mechanized
process for migrate and move activity will be
implemented.
