Wake up 7:30-8:00 am
Breakfast 8:30am
First activity 9:40am-10:40am
Second activity 10:50am-12pm
Lunch 12pm- 1:15pm
Third activity 1:15pm- 2:25pm
Fourth activity 2:25pm- 3:35pm
Fifth activity 3:50pm- 5:00pm
Dinner/free time 5:00pm-6:15pm
Sixth activity 6:15pm-7:25pm
Evening activity 7:45pm- 9:00pm

Coach leaves school at 9:15am
Children to arrive in appropriate clothing,
with suitcase/bag
LUNCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Journey is approximately an hour and a half
We are stopping at the national coal mining
museum and having lunch
We will enter Kingswood at 2:30pm

During the day children will be in groups of
10 supported by a member of staff
The groups will be mixed year 2 and 3

The bedrooms will consist of 3 or 4 children


We have lunch at the centre and then set off.
We are due back at 3pm; normal end of
school day.
Children will be tired!
Here’s a list of things to pack- along with a few that aren’t essential but could be useful.

Toiletries (shower gel, shampoo, toothbrush, toothpaste etc.)

Appropriate clothes for activity sessions- long sleeved tops, trousers/tracksuit bottoms
and closed toe shoes/trainers are required for nearly all sessions)

Clothes, shoes and underwear for other times

Water proof clothing; jacket essential, wellingtons optional

A bath towel

Sunglasses, sun cream and a hat

Pyjamas and slippers or appropriate bed time wear

Teddy bear (ideally small)

A named water bottle

Books, playing cards and other appropriate room activities

Room snacks (again optional)

Money for snacks and souvenirs in the shop- maximum £5 to spend.

Medicine (if applicable) to be given to group leader on arrival.
Kingswood can’t accept liability for the loss of any personal property brought to our centres- so
please don’t pack any valuable items, mobile phones, handheld games consoles etc. They are
unable to store them and they will not be insured while on centre.

