This Dua is one of the most important and famous Dua of Shia. Nudba means ‘lamentation’ and in this Dua, we are mourning And wailing on the ghaibat of our Imam (a.s), that he is hidden from us. DUA-E-NUDBA This Dua is to be recited on Fridays and on Eid days. During this Dua, by concentration, asking for forgiveness and reciting salawaat, we wash away our sins and remove the obstacles which are stopping the granting of our Dua’s. DUA-E-NUDBA Then with full attention, in a weeping state, we call our Imam (a.s) in the same way as our sixth Holy Imam (a.s.) used to do. We cry and recite Nudba on the Ghaibat and being far away from our Imam (a.s.). DUA-E-NUDBA We request Allah to hasten his reappearance and thus end the corruption and injustice in this world. May the Almighty Allah have mercy upon our Nudbas and weeping. ْن م ل ْال ل ا ب ر ه ل ل د م ْح ل ا َ ْ َ َُْ Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds. MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM صل اهللُ علَى َسند نل و َ َ ٍ ُم َحمد نَبنه And blessings of Allah be upon our leader Muhammad, His Prophet MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM َو آله َو َسل َم تَ ْسل ْنم and the Prophet’s Progeny with worthy greetings MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ل ا ك ل م ه َلل أ َ َْح ْم ُد َعلَى مل َ ُ َ َج َرى O Allah! All Praise is for You for all matters MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ك ق ه ب َ ْ ضآ ُؤ َك في أَ ْولنآئ َ resolved in the matter regarding those close to You MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ك ل خ ت اس ْ ي ذ ال َ ْ َ صتَ ُه ْم لََ ْس ْ َْ َ ْ و َ َ د ي َ ك َ ْ َ Those whom You have purified for yourself and Your Religion MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ت لَ ُه ْم َجزيْ َل ملَ ع َْ َد َك ر ت خ ا ذ إ ْ ْ َ َْ م َْ الَانم ال ُْمق ْن ْم Since You have willed to bestow on them the choicest of Your everlasting favors MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ال لَ ُه َ الزَو َ الذي ألل َ ضم ْح ْ َوال ا Which neither diminish nor decrease MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM َ الزْه َد ط ر ش ن أ د ا ب ْ ُّ ت َعلَْنه ُم ْ َ َ َْ َ َ after You took promise from them to renounce MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM في َد َر َجلت هلذه ُّدنْنل الدننة all stages of this contemptible world MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM َو ُز ْخ ُرف َهل َو زبْرج َهل and its superficial attractions and allurements MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ك ل ا ذ ك ل وا ط ر ش ف َ ُ َ َ َ َ َ َ Indeed, they promised to do so. MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ْ آَ به ف و ل ا م ه َ م ت م ل ع و َ َ َ ُ ُْ َ ْ ََ and You knew they would fulfill it MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM فَ َقب ْلتَ ُه ْم َوقَ ربْ تَ ُه ْم So You accepted them and brought them near to You MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ت لَ ُه ُم الذ ْْك َر ال َْالي م د ق و َ َ ْ َ sent the news of their auspicious arrival in advance MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ْجلي ل ا ََآ الث و َ َ َ and glowing praise MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM َ ك ت ك آلئ م م ه ن ل ع ت ط ب ه أ و ْ َ َ َ َ َ ْ ْ َ َ َْ َ Fell down on the ground in prostration the angels before them MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ك ن ح و ب م ه ت م ر ْك و َ َ ْ َ ْ ُ َْ َ and honoured them by Your Revelation MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ك م ل ا ب م ه ت د ف ر و ْ َ ْ َ َ ُْ َ َ and gifted them with Your Knowledge MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ك ن ل ا ت يا ر الذ م ه ت ل ا ج و ْ َ َْ ََ ُ َُ ََ َ set them up as the medium to reach You MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ك ان و ض ر لى ا ة ل ن س ْو ل ا و َ َ ْ َ َ َ َ ْ َ َ and a medium of acquiring Your Pleasure and Paradise MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM َ ك ت َ ج ه ت َ ك س أ ض ا ب ف َ َ َ َ َ ُ َْ ْ ٌ ْ َ Then You made some of them dwell in Your Garden MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM الَى أَ ْن أ ْخ َر ْجتَهُ م َْ َهل until You sent Them out of it MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ك ا ب و َ ض َح َم ْلتَهُ في فُ ْلك ٌ َْ َ َونَج ْنتَ َهل and You carried one of them in Your Ark MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM آم َْ َم َاهُ م َْ الْ َهلَ َكة ْ م و َ ْ ََ ر ب ح م ت ك َ ََْ and rescued him and those who believed, from destruction by Your Mercy MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ك خلنل س ْ َ ل ه ت ذ خ أت ض ا ب و ْ َ َ َ ُ َ ٌ ْ ََ and You selected for Yourself one of them to be close to You MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ٍ سل َن ص ْدق في ل ك ل أ س و َ َ َ َ َ َ أآلخريْ َْ فَأَ َج ْبتَ ُه and he requested You to appoint the truthful Prophet and his successor from his later generation, which You granted MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ك َعلي ال ذ ت ل ا ج و ْ َ َ َ ََ َ and hence You appointed them to elevated ranks MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ٍض َْكلمتَهُ مْ َشجرت ا ب و ََ ْ ْ ٌ َْ َ تَ ْكل ْنمل and one of them You spoke to from a voice from a tree MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ت لَهُ م ْْ أَخ ْنه ر ْدَا َ َو َج َا ْل َوَوزيْ ر And appointed his brother as his supporter and helper MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ٍ ض أ َْولَ ْدتَهُ م ْْ غَْنر أ َب ا ب و ٌ ْ ََ َوآتَ ْنتَهُ ألْبَ ن ََلت And You brought into existence one of them without a father and You gave him clear signs MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM َوأَي ْدتَهُ ب ُروح الْ ُق ُدس And supported him with the Holy Spirit MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ت لَهُ َشريْ َات ع ر ش َ ل ْك و ُ ٌّ َ َ َْ َ And for each of them You gave a code of law MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ت لَهُ م َْ َهل جل ج ه ن و َ َ ََْ And You assigned a path for him MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM َ َنآ ص و أ ه ل ت ر ن خ ت و َ َ َ ْ ُ َ ْ َ َ And You selected successors for him MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ٍمستحْظل ب ا َد مستحْظ ْ َْ ْ َْ ْ َْ ُ Who successively protected the code of law MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ٍ ٍ ك َ ي د ل ة لم ق ا ة د م لى ا ة د م ْ م َ َ ْ َ ُ ُ ْ and upheld Your religion from time to time MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM َو ُحجة َعلَى عبَلد َك And presented Your message to Your creatures, MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ْح ُّق َع ْْ َم َقره ل ا ول ز ي أل ئ ل و َ َُ َ َ َ lest the truth should deviate from its place MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ب الْبَلط ُل َعلَى أَ ْهله ل غ ي و ْ َ ََ and falsehood prevail upon the Truth MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM َ َ ت ل س ر أ ال و ل د ح أ ول ق ي ال و ْ َ َ ُ َ َ ٌ َ َْ ْ َ َ َ and no one could then say “Why didn’t You send MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM الَْن ََل َر ُسوال ُم َْذرا us a messenger to warn us MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM َ ت لَََل َعلَمل َهلديل م ق أ و َ َ ْ َ and guide us so that we may follow Your guidance MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ك م ْْ قَ ْبل أ ْن نَذل َ فَ ََتب َع آيَلت و زى خ ن َ ْ َ َ before we suffered disgrace and disrepute ?” MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM َ ب ت ن ه ت ان َن أ لى إ لى إ ر م أل لا ْ َ َ َ ْ ْ َ ٍك محمد ح ن ب و ك ب ج ن ن ب َ َُ َ ْ َ َ َْ Then You made plans to bring out the wonderful advent of Muhammad MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM صلى أهللُ َعلَْنه َوآله َ Peace be upon him and his progeny MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ْْ فَكَل َن َْكملَ انْ تَ َج ْبتَهُ َسن َد َم َخلَ ْقتَ ُه Then as You had selected him to be a leader, so he was, of all Your creatures MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM اصطََْ ْنتَ ُه ْ م ة و ْ ص و َ ْ َ ََ َ The purest among Your chosen ones MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM َ اجتَبَ ْنتَ ُه ْ م ل ض ف أ و ْ ْ َََ َ and You gave him excellence over Your selected ones MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM َوأَ ْْك َرَم َمْ ا ْعتَ َم ْد تَ ُه and bestowed honour on him from among people whom You trusted MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM َ ك آئ ن ب َ ْ ن أ لى ع ه ت م د ق َ ْ َ َ َ ُ َ ْ َ and gave him precedence over Your prophets MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM َوبَ َاثْتَهُ الَى الْث َقلَْنْ م ْْ عبَلد َك and raised him as a Prophet to both worlds of men and jinn from among Your servants MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ْ َ ك ب لر غ م و ك ق لر ش م ه ت أ ط و أ و َ َ َ َ َ َ َ ََ َ َُ َْ and made Your Easts and Wests obedient to him MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ت لَهُ الْبُ َرا َق ر خ س و َ ْ ََ and put under his use Burraaq MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ك آئ م س ى ل ا ه ح و ر ب ت ج ر ع و َ َ ََ ْ ُ َ ْ ََ َ which raised him highest into the heavens together with his soul MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM َوأ َْو َد ْعتَهُ ع ْل َم َملْكَل َن َوَمليَكُْو ُن الى ق ن ا َآ ض ق ل خ ك ْ ْ َ َ َ and You entrusted to him the knowledge of the past and the future till the end of Your creation MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ص ْرتَهُ بل ُّلر ْعب ن م ث ُ َ َ Then You helped him by creating fear of him in his enemies MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM َو َح َْْتَهُ بج ْب َرآئ ْن َل َوم ْن َكآئ ْن َل and You surrounded him with Jibraeel and Mikaeel MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ك ت ك آلئ م ْ م ْ ن م و س ْم ل ا و َ َ َ ْ َْ َ ُ َ and other distinguished angels MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM َْْوَو َع ْدتَهُ أَ ْن تُظْه َر ديْ ََهُ َعلَى الدي ُْكله َولَ ْوَْكرَه ال ُْم ْشرُْكو َن And You promised him that You would make his “ religion triumph over all religions regardless of the dislike of the polytheists” MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM َك بَ ْا َد أَ ْن بَوأْتَهُ ُمبَ وأ ال ذ و َ َ َ ٍ ص ْدق م ْْ أ َْهله And this victory was after You relodged the Prophet successfully back in the Kaaba which is the true lodge of his progeny MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ٍت لَهُ ولَ ُهم أَو َل ب ْنت ل ا ج و ْ َ ََ َ َ ْ َ ُوض َع للَلس And made for him and them “ the first house situated in….. MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM لَلذي ببَك ةَ ُمبَ َلرْك ل …in Mecca as a blessing… MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ْْ َو ُهدى ل ْل َاللَم ْن …and guidance for the world… MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM لت لم ابْ َراه ْن َم َ ن ب لت آي نه ف ق م َ ٌ ٌ ُ َ ََ َ َوَم ْْ َد َخلَهُ َْكل َن آمَل …in it are clear signs such as the place of Ibrahim and whoever entered in it was safe” MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ب ه ذ ن ل اهلل د ي ر ي ل م ن ا ت ل ق و ْ ْ ُ ُ َ ُ ُ ُْ َ َ َ س أ َْه َل الْبَ ْنت ج الر م ك َ ع ُ ْ َ ْ ُ َ And You said “Verily, Allah wills to keep of from you , O People of the House, every kind of uncleanness… MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM َويُطَه َرُْك ْم تَطْه ْن را …and to purify you with a thorough purification” MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ٍ ك د م ح م ر َج أ ت ل ا ج م ث ْ ُ َ ُصلَ َوات َ َ َ ُ َْ ََ ك لب ت ْك ي ف م ه ت د و م ه آل و ه ن ل ع َ َ َ َ ْ ْ ُ ََ َ ْ َ Then You fixed a reward for Muhammad, Your peace be upon him and his Progeny, being their love, in Your book MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ت ل ق ف ل ق ال َس أ م ك ل أ ع ن ل ه أ َجرا َ ْ ُ َ ُ ُ َ ُ َ َ ْ َْ ْ ْ ْ بى ر ق ْ ل ا ي ف ة د و ْم ل ا إال َ ُ ََ َ ْ and You said “Say, (O Muhammad) I do not ask from you any reward for it except the love of my kin” MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM َج ٍر فَ ُه َو م ك ْت ل أ أ لس ْ م م ت ل ق و َ ْ ُ ُ َ ْ ْ ْ ُ َ َ َ لَ ُك ْم and You said “ I do not ask for any reward but one which was meant to serve your interest and benefit” MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ْْ َج ٍر إال َم ه ن ل ع أ م ك ل أ ْ َس أ ل م م ت ل ق و ْ ُ َ ُ ُ َ َ ْ ْ ْ ْ ْ َ َ شآََ أَ ْن يَتخ َذ الى َربه َسب ْنل and You said “ I do not ask you for any reward for it except that which one would wish to take it as a means towards reaching his lord” MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ن ل ا ه وا ن ل ك ف ن ل م ك ب الس َ َ َ ُ َ ْ َْ ُُ So we conclude that they ( the Ahlul Bayt ) are the only path leading towards You MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ك ان و ض ر لى ا ك ل س ْم ل ا و َ ْ َ َ َ َْ َ and the way to acquiring Your pleasure MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM م ل ف ان ل ق ض ت أَيل ُم ُه َ َ َ ْ ْ َ and when his ( the Prophet’s s.a.w. ) last days neared MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ب ل ل ط ي َب أ ْ ب ي ل ع ه ن ل و م ل َق أ َ َ َ ُ ََ ْ ْ َ ْ he appointed his successor Ali, son of Abu Talib MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ك َعلَْنه َمل َوآله َمل َهلديل ت ا و ل ص َ ُ َ ََ Your peace be upon both of them and their progeny, as a guide MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ٍإذْ َْكل َن ُهوالْم َْذر ول ُكل قَ وٍم َهلد ْ ََ ُ َ and he ( Ali ) was a Warner and guide for every community of people MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM لل َوال َْم ألُ أَ َمل َم ُه َ فَ َق Then he ( the Prophet ) said in front of the huge gathering: MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM اله و م ي ل ا ف اله و م ت َ ْك ْ م َ ُ ُ ْ َ ٌّ َ ُ ْ َ ُ ْ ْ َ “ To whosoever I am a master, Ali is also his master MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM اَلل ُهم َوال َم ْْ َواالَ ُه And he ( the Prophet ) prayed “O Allah! be close to one who is close to him MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM لد ُاه ع ْ م لد ع و َ َ َْ َ َ and be enemy of one who is his enemy MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ص َرُه ن ْ م ر ص ن ا و ْ َ َ ْ َ ُْ َ and help one who helps him MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM وا ْخ ُذ ْل َم ْْ َخ َذلَ ُه and disgrace one who disgraces him” MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ت أَنَل نَبنهُ فَ َال ٌّي َ ََوق ُ َْ لل َم ْْ ُْك أَم ْن ُرُه and he said: “ Of whomsoever, I am Prophet, Ali is his Chief” MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ٍلل أَنَل و َعل ٌّي مْ َشجرٍة واح َدة ق و َ َ َ ََ ْ َ َ and he said: “ I and Ali are from the same tree… MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM َوسآي ُرالَْلس م ْْ َش َج ٍر َشتى …and all other people are from different trees” MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM وسى م ْ م ن و لر ه ل ح م ه ل َح أ و َ َ ُ ْ َُ ََُ َ َ And he placed him ( Ali ) in a position which Harun held with Musa MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ت مَي ب َم َْزلَة هلَ ُر َن َ فَ َق َ ْلل لَهُ اَن م ْ م سى ُ ْ َ and said to him: “ Your position to me is as Harun held with Musa… MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM اال أَنهُ الَنَبي بَ ْادي …except that there will be no prophet after me” MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ََوَزو َجهُ اَبْ ََتَهُ َسن َد َة نسآ َْ ال َْاللَم ْن And he got him married to his daughter, the leader of the ladies of the worlds MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM َحل لَهُ م ْْ َم ْسجده َمل َحل لَ ُه أ و َ َ And he made for him lawful whatever was lawful for himself in his mosque MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM اب اال بَلبَ ُه و األب د س و َ َْ َ َ And he closed all the other doors leading into the mosque except the door of his (Ali) house MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ثُم أ َْو َد َعهُ ع ْل َمهُ َوح ْك َمتَ ُه Then he ( the Prophet ) entrusted to Ali his knowledge and wisdom MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM لل أَنَل َمديْ ََةُ الْا ْلم َو َعل ٌّي بَلبُ َهل َ فَ َق And he said: “ I am the city of knowledge and Ali is its gate... MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM َر أ ْ م ف َ َادال َْمديْ ََةَ َوالْح ْك َمة ََ َْ فَ ْلنَلْ َْت َهل م ْْ بَلب َهل …therefore, anyone who wishes to enter the city ( of knowledge and wisdom ) should enter from its gate” MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ت أَخي َوَوصني َ َثُم ق َ ْلل أَن َوَوارث ْي Then he said to him: “ You are my brother and successor and inheritor… MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ك م ْْ لَ ْحمي م ح ل َ َ ُْ …your flesh is from my flesh… MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ك م ْْ َدم ْي م د و َ َُ َ …and your blood is from my blood… MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ك س ْلمي م ل س و ْ َُ َ …and peace with you is peace with me… MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ك َح ْرب ْي ب ر ح و َ ُْ َ َ …and war against you is war against me… MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ك ٌ َواإلَْيْ َمل ُن ُم َخلل َ ط لَ ْح َم و د م ك َ ََ َ … and the faith is mixed with your flesh and your blood… MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ط لَ ْحمي َو َدمي َ ََْك َمل َخلل …as it is mixed with my flesh and blood… MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM َ ْح ْوض ل ا ى ل ع ا د غ ت ن أ و َ َ ْ َ َ َ َ َخل ْن َْتي …and tomorrow ( the day of Qiyamah ) you will be my representative at the cistern of Kauthar… MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM َ ت تَ ْقضي َديَْى ن أ و ْ َ َ …and you will pay my debts … MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM َوتُ َْج ُز ع َداتي …and fulfill my promises… MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ك َعلَى َمََلب َرم ْْ نُ ْوٍر ت ا ن ش و َ َُ ْ َ …and your Shi’as will be sitting on pulpits of light… MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM م ب ن و ة ض ج وه ُه ْم َح ْولي في ُ ُ ُ َ ُْ ْجَة َو ُه ْم ج ْن َراني ل ا َ …with their faces shining bright around me in the paradise and they will be my neighbors… MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM َ ت يَل َعل ُّي لَ ْم يُ ْا َرف ن أ ال و ل و َ ْ َ َ َْ ال ُْم ْؤمَُو َن بَ ْادي …and Ali, had it not been for you the believers would not have been recognized after me” MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM َوَْكل َن بَ ْا َدهُ ُهدى م َْ الْضألل َونُ ْورا م َْ ال َْا َمى So after the Prophet, he ( Ali ) was a guidance from going astray and a guiding light from darkness MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM َْ َو َح ْب َل الله ال َْمت ْن and the strong rope of Allah MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM َوص َراطَهُ ال ُْم ْستَق ْن َم and His right path MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ٍاليُ ْسبَ ُق ب َق َرابٍَة في َرحم ْ No one could come closer in his ties of kinship MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ٍْْسلب َق ٍة ف ْي دي ب ال و َ َ َ nor gain precedence to him in religion MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ٍ َوالَيُ ْل َح ُق ف ْي َم َْ َقبَة م ْْ َمََلقبه And no one could reach him in the virtues he possessed among ( the Prophet’s ) virtues MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM وح ْذ َوالْر ُسول ذ ح ي ُ َ َْ He followed the path of the Messenger and lived his life along with the Prophet MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM صلى اللهُ َعلَْنه َم َلوآله َمل َ may the blessings of Allah be upon both of them and their Progeny MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM َويُ َقلت ُل َعلَى الْت أْويْل And he fought in the way of Allah in accordance with the deep interpretation of the Revelation MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM َوالَتَأْ ُخ ُذهُ ف ْي الله لَ ْوَمةُ آلئ ٍم and he was not deterred in his pursuit of Allah’s pleasure by any one who blamed him MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM صََلديْ َد ال َْا َرب ه ن ف ر ت و د ق َ ْ َ َ ََْ Indeed, he killed the great Arab chiefs MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM َوقَ تَ َل أَبْطَللَ ُه ْم and put to sword their brave fighters MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ش ذُئْ بَلنَ ُه ْم لو ن و َ َ َ َ and attacked their fortresses and strongholds MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM َح َقلدا بَ ْدرية أ م ه وب ل ق ع د و أ ف َ ُ ُ َ َ ْ ْ َُ َ ْ َْو َخ ْنبَرية َو ُحََ ْنَنة َوغَْن َرُه As a result, he made their hearts of Badr, Khyber, Hunayn and other battles, harbour hatred and malice MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ت َعلَى َع َد َاوته أ ف َ َ ْ ضب َ Therefore ( they ) rose in enmity against him MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ت َعلَى ُمََلبَ َذته ْ َوأَ َْكب and he too fought against them MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM َْ َحتى قَ تَ َل الَلْكث ْن َْ َوالْ َقلسط ْن و َْ الملرق ْن ْ َ until he killed the oath breakers of the alliance and the perpetrators of injustices and the apostates MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ضى نَ ْحبَ ُه ق ل م ل و َ َ َ َ Then when his end came MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM َوقَ تَ لَهُ أَ ْش َقى اآلخريْ َْ يَ ْتبَ ُع ْْ أَ ْش َقى األَول ْن a wretched man among those of the later period following the path of those of the earlier period killed him MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM صلى ه الل ول س ر ر َم أ ل ث ت م ي م ل َ َ ُ َ ُ ْ ْ ََ ْ ُ ْ اللهُ َعلَْنه َوآله ignoring completely the order of the Messenger of Allah, peace of Allah be upon him and his Progeny MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM َْ ْفي ال َْهلديْ َْ بَ ْا َد ال َْهلدي in respect of the Guides who came one after the other MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM َواألُمةُ ُمصرةٌ َعلَى َم ْقته while the ummah was bent upon bearing enmity against each guide MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ُم ْجتَم َاةٌ َعلَى قَط ْن َاة َرحمه they joined together to deny his ties of relations MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM صآَ ُولْده اال الْ َقل ْن َل ق ا و ْ َ َ and degraded his children from their position of honour except a few who remained faithful MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ْحق ف ْنه ْم ل ا ة لي ع ر ل ى ف و ْ م م َ َ ََ َ ْ in honoring their ( Ahlul Bayt’s ) rights MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM فَ ُقت َل َم ْْ قُت َل Consequently some from them were killed MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM َو ُسب َي َم ْْ ُسب َي some imprisoned MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM َوأُقْص َي َم ْْ أُقْص َي and others exiled MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM رجى ي ل م ب م ه ل َآ ض ق ل ال ى ر ج و ْ َ َ َ َ ُ َ ُْ ُ ََ َ لَهُ ُح ْس ُْ ال َْمثُوبَة And by the will of Allah their success in both worlds was assured with best reward for them MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM َ ض لل ََه يُورثُ َهل ر أل ا ت ن ل ْك ذ إ ْ َ َ ُ ْ شآَُم ْْ عبَلده َ ََم ْْ ي Since “ the earth belongs to Allah, He appoints a successor whosoever He wishes from amongst His servants. … MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ْْ َوال َْالقبَةُ ل ْل ُمتق ْن ... and the good end is (only) for those who guard against evil.” MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM َو ُس ْب َحل َن َرب ََلإ ْن َْك ل َن َو ْع ُد َرب ََللَ َمْاُوال and “ Glory to our Lord, verily, the promise of our Lord would still come to be fulfilled” MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ف الْلهُ َو ْع َد ُه َ َولَ ْْ يُ ْخل and “ Allah never contravenes his promise” MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ْحك ْن ْم ل ا ز ي ز ْا ل ا و ه و َ ُْ َ َُ َ “ and He is the Almighty the Al-wise” MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM َفَ َا َل األَطآئب م ْْ أَ ْهل بَ ْنت ٍ َم َحمد َو َعلي Therefore on the most purified ones among the Ahlul Bayt of Muhammad and Ali MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM صلى الْلهُ َعلَْنه َمل َوآله َمل َ may peace of Allah be upon them and their progeny. MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM فَ ْلنَْبك الْبَل ُْكو َن Let the wailers cry with pain MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM له ْم فَ ْلنَ َْ ُدب الَْلدبُو ْن ي ا و ُ َ and wail with bitterness MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ُّ وع م ْد ل ا ف ر ذ ت ل ف م ه ل ث م ل و ْ ْ َ ُ ُ َ ُ ْ ْ َ and for such people like them (the Ahlul Bayt) their devotees MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ص ُرخ الْصلر ُخو َن ْن ل ا و َْ َ should shed relentless tears on their tragedy MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM لجو َن ْض ل ا ج ض ي و ُ ََ the mourners should mourn with intense grief MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM لجو ْن ُّ َويَا ُّج ال َْا and the lamenters should lament in a heart rendering voice and cry out; MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM س ْن ُْ؟ ْ َي أ ؟ ْ ْح ل ا س ْح ل ا ْ َي أ َ ُ َْ ُ َ َ َْ ْ َي أ َآ َ َب أ ْح ل ا س ْنْ؟ َ ُ ُ َْ َ ْ Where is Hassan? Where is Hussayn ? Where are the children of Hussayn? MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM صلل ٍح د ا ب ح لل ص َ َ َْ ٌ َ Righteous after Righteous MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ٍوصلد ٌق ب ْا َد صلدق َ َ َ َ and the Truthful after the Truthful MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM أَيْ َْ الْسب ْن ُل بَ ْا َد الْسب ْنل ؟ Where is the Guide after the Guide? MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM أَيْ َْ الْخنَ َرةُ بَ ْا َد الْخنَ َرة ؟ Where are the Virtuous after the Virtuous people? MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ُّ وس الْطلل َاةُ ؟ م ْش ل ا ْ َي أ ُ ُ َْ Where are the rising suns? MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM َ لر ال ُْمَ ْن َرةُ ؟ م ق أل ا ْ َي أ ْ ُ َ َْ Where are the luminous moons? MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM أَيْ َْ األَنْ ُج ُم الْزاه َرةُ ؟ Where are the brilliant stars? MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM أَيْ َْ أَ ْعلَ ُم الْديْْ َوقَ َواع ُدالْا ْلم ؟ Where are the sign-posts of religion and the basis of Knowledge? MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM َْ أَيْ َْ بَقنَةُ الْله ا ْل ََتي الَتَ ْخلُوم الْا ْت َرة ال َْهلديَة ؟ Where is Baqiyatu-l-Allah without whose presence and his guided progeny the world cannot survive? MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM أَيْ َْ ال ُْم َا ُّد ل َقطْع َدابر الظلَ َمة ؟ Where is the one who is ready to annihilate the oppressors? MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM أَيْ َْ ال ُْم َْتَظَُر الَ قَ َلمة األَ ْمت َوالْا َوج ؟ Where is the Awaited one who will close the gap between the privileged and the unprivileged? MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM َي أ ْ ْم ل ا ر ت ج ال ى ز َ َ ة ل ا ل ا ْج ْور َ َ َ َ ُْ َ ْ َ َوالْاُ ْد َوان ؟ Where is the expected ( Imam Mehdi) to uproot all oppression and transgression? MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM أَيْ َْ ال ُْمد َخ ُر لتَ ْجديْد الْ َْ َرآئض السََْ ؟ ُّ َو Where is the one to safeguard the commandments of Allah and the Sunnah? MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM لدة الْملة ع ال ر ن خ ت ْم ل ا ْ َي أ َ َ َ ُ ََ َ ْ َوالْشريْ َاة ؟ Where is the one selected to resuscitate Islamic civilization and law? MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM أَيْ َْ ال ُْم َؤم ُل ال ْحنَآَ الْكتَلب َو ُح ُدوده ؟ Where is the expected one for reviving the teachings of the Book and its injunctions? MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM أَيْ َْ ُم ْحي َم َاللم الْديْْ َوأ َْهله ؟ Where is the one who will blot out dogma in the matter of religion and his (Muhammad’s) children? MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM أَيْ َْ قَلص ُم َش ْوَْكة الْ ُم ْاتَديْ َْ ؟ Where is the smasher of the might of the oppressors and transgressors? MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM أَيْ َْ َهلد ُم أَبَْنَة الش ْرك َوالَْ َْلق ؟ Where is the demolisher of the bases of polytheism and hypocrisy? MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM َي أ ْ ْ م سوق ن ب ْ ل ا ل َه أ د ُ ُ ْ ْ ُ َْ ُ صنَلن َوالْطُّغْنَلن ؟ ْا ل ا و ْ َ Where is the destroyer of the followers of transgression, disobedience and rebellion? MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM أَيْ َْ َحلص ُد فُ ُروع الْغَي َوالْش َقلق ؟ Where is the one who shall stamp out dissents of misguidance and opposition? MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM س آثَلر الْزيْغ لم ط ْ َي أ َ َْ ُ َواألَ ْه َوآَ ؟ Where is the one who shall eradicate signs of evil desires and symptoms of conceit and egoism? MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM أَيْ َْ قَلط ُع َحبَآئل الْك ْذب َواالفْت َرآَ ؟ Where is the one who shall sever the cords of falsehood and corruption? MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM أَيْ َْ ُمب ْن ُد الْاُتَلة َوال َْم َر َدة ؟ Where is the one who shall destroy vicious and arrogant people? MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM أَيْ َْ ُم ْستَأْص ُل أ َْهل الْاََلد ْحلد ؟ ل اال و ل ن ل ض ت و ْ َ َ ْ َ Where is the one who shall uproot foundations of obstinacy, misguidance and apostasy? MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ُّأَيْْ ُما ُّز األَ ْولنَآَ وُمذل َ َ األَ ْع َداَ ؟ Where is the one who honors friends and debases the enemy? MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM أَيْ َْ َجلم ُع الْ َكل َمة َعلَى وى ؟ ق ْت ل ا ْ َ َ Where is the one who shall resolve the differences and unite people on the unifying teachings of piety and religion? MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM لب الله ْال ََذي م َْهُ يُ ْؤتَي ب ْ َي أ ُ َ َْ ؟ Where is the ultimate source of plenty and prosperity? MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM أَيْ َْ َو ْجهُ الله ْال ََذي الَْنه يَتَ َوجهُ األَ ْولنَآَُ ؟ Where is the countenance of Allah to which those close to Allah pay respects? MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM َي أ ب الس ْ َْ ب ال ُْمتص ُل بَ ْن ْ َُ األَ ْرض َوالْس َمآَ ؟ Where is the link that connects the heavens and the earth? MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ب يَ ْوم الْ َْ ْتح َونَلش ُر لح ص ْ َي أ ُ َ َْ دى ؟ ْه ل ا ة اي ر ُ ََ َ Where is the Master of the Day of Victory and the one who will spread out the banner of guidance? MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ْن ب ر ق ْم ل ا ة لد ْس ل ا ْ لاب ي َ َ ُ َ َْ َ O’ Son of favourite leaders ! MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ْْ ُّجبَآَ األَ ْْك َرم ْن َ ال ْ لاب ي َ َْ َ O’ Son of the distinguished nobles! MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ْن ي د ه ْم ل ا اة د ْه ل ا ْ لاب ي ْ َْ َُ َْ َ O’ Son of rightly guided guides ! MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM َْ يَلابْ َْ الْخنَ َرة ال ُْم َهذب ْن O’ Son of the most refined high-minded liberals! MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM َْ يَلابْ َْ الْغَطَلرفَة األَنْ َجب ْن O’ Son of the select generous guardians! MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM َْ ْيَلابْ َْ األَطَآئب ال َْمطَهري O’ Son of the polite and pure purifiers! MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM َْ ضلرَمة الْ َم َْتَ َجب ْن خ ْ ل ا ْ لاب ي َ َ َْ َ O’ Son of the impartial judges! MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM َْ يَلابْ َْ الْ َق َملق َمة األَ ْْك َرم ْن O’ Son of the openhanded hosts! MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM يَلابْ َْ الْبُ ُدور ال ُْمَ ْن َرة O’ Son of the mature teachers! MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM يَلابْ َْ األَنْ ُجم الْزاه َرة O’ Son of the made known prophecy! MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ْسبُل ال َْواض َحة ُّ يَلابْ َْ ال O’ Son of the clear preaching! MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM يَلابْ َْ األَ ْعلَم اللئ َحة O’ Son of the evident signs! MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM يَلابْ َْ الْاُلُوم الْ َكلملَة O’ Son of the perfect knowledge! MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM يَلابْ َْ َم ْْ ُه َو ف ْي اُم الْكتَلب دى اهلل َعل ٌّي َحك ْن ٌم ل َ َ O’ Son of the ones whose high status is given in the book of Allah, the Most High and Wise ! MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM يَلابْ َْ اآليَلت َوالْبَ ن ََلت O’ Son of the ones who are the open signs and clear proofs ! MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM يَلابْ َْ الَْ َام الْسلبغَلت O’ Son of the abundant blessings (of Allah)! MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM يَلابْ َْ طلهل َوال ُْم ْح َك َملت O’ Son of Ta-Ha and the clear verses of the book! MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM يَلابْ َْ يَس َوالْذاريَلت O’ Son of Ya-Sin and adh-Dhariyat! MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM يَلابْ َْ الْطُّورَوال َْالديَلت O’ Son of at-Tur and al-Adiyat! MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM يَلابْ َْ َم ْْ َدنَل فتَ َدلى O’ Son of one who came near and even nearer to God MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM َ نى د أ َو أ ْ ن س و ق لب ق ن ل ك ف َ َ َ َ َ ْ َ ْ َْ ْ َ That he was at a distance of two bows or shorter! MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM َ ت ن ل لى ع َ َ ْ َ ْ ُدنُوا َواقْت َرابلم َْ ال َْالي األ ش ا َي أ ي ر ْ اس ب ت ك ر ق َْ ل ا ت وى ؟ َ ْ َ َْ َ ْ ْ َ Alas! Only if I could know, how high your stature and lofty position stands? MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ُّ ٍ رى ؟ ث َو أ ك ل ك ت ض َر أ َي أ ل ب َ ُّ ُ ْ َ ْ َ َْ Or where on the Earth you are established? MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM وى أ َْوغَْنرَهل أ َْم ذي ض ر َب أ ْ َ َ ط وى ؟ ُ َ Is it on the mountain of Radhwa? Or on the other mountain or on Dhi Tuwa? (the protected concealment) MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM َعزيْ ٌز َعلَي أَ ْن أ ََرى الْ َخ ْل َق و رى ت ال َ ُ َ َ I cannot bear that I see all the people but cannot see you MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM وى ج ن ال و سل ن س ح ك ل ع م َس أ ال و َ َ َ َ َ ْ َ ْ َ َ َُْ َ nor hear your voice, loud or low MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ك ُدون َي َ َعز ٌيز َعلَي أَ ْن تُح ْن َ طب ْب ل ا وى ل ْ َ َ I cannot tolerate to see that in your absence I am surrounded by calamities MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ضج ْن ٌج َ َُوالَيَََلل َ ك مَ ْي و وى ك ش ال ْ َ َ َ َ and that my cry and complain do not reach you MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ٍ ت م ْْ َمغَن ب لَ ْم يَ ْخ ُل َ ْبََ ْسي أَن مَل I swear by my life and offer myself as a sacrifice to you that you are hidden reality not far from us MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ت م ْْ نَلز ٍح َمل نَ َز َح َ ْبََ ْسي أَن َعَل May I be sacrifice for you who although appear to be far from us, are never cut-off from us MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM َ ت اُ ْمَنةُ َشآئ ٍق يَتَ َمَى ن ْ َ بََ ْسي أ ٍ م ْْ ُم ْؤم ٍْ َوُم ْؤمََة ذَ َْك َرا فَ َحَل May I be sacrifice for you who, although in concealment, are not far from faithful men and women who constantly remember you MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ت م ْْ َعق ْند عز َ ْبََ ْسي أَن ي ال س لمى َ ُ َ َ May I be sacrifice for you who are of an unsurpassable position beyond reach of anyone MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ٍت مْ أَثنل مجد َ ن أ ي س ْ َ ب ْ َ َ َْ ْ ْ ي ال ج لزى َ َ َُ May I be sacrifice for you whose ancestral nobility and greatness has no equal MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ت م ْْ تلَدن َا ٍم َ ْبََ ْسي أَن لهى ض ت ال َ ُ َ َ May I be sacrifice for you who is the root of praise and distinction MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ٍت مْ نَصنف َشرف َ ن أ ي س ْ َ ب ْ َ َ ْ ْ َ ي ال س لوى َ َ َُ May I be sacrifice for you who hails from an unparalleled honorable family MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM الي ؟ و م ل ي ك ن ف لر َح أ تى م إلى َ َْ َ َ ْ ُ َ َ َ َ How long am I to cry and wail over your separation, O’ my master? MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ٍ ف َص أ لب ََوالَى َمتَى َوأَي خط ُ ف ن و ك ج ن َي أ وى ؟ َ َ َْ َ ْ And with what word praise and confidence should I address you that you may turn towards me? MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM َ ك ج ا ن أ ي ل ع ز ي ز ع َ ْ ُ َ َلب ُدون َ ٌْ َ َ َ و لغى ن ا ُ َ َ َ I cannot talk in confidence to you and receive a reply from people other that you MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ك َ َك َويَ ْخ ُذل َ ََعزيْ ٌز َعلَي أَ ْن أَبْكن ْو ل ا رى َ َ I cannot bear that I cry for you and see all others abandoning you MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM َ ك ي ن أ ي ل ع ز ي ز ع ر ج َ ْ َ ي َعلَْن َ ٌْ َ َ َْ د ه ون م م لج رى َ َ َ ُْ ُ َ I cannot tolerate to see that that this separation has come over to you instead of to others MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ٍ يل و ْا ل ا ه ا م ل ن ط ل ف ْ ن ا م ْ م ل ه َ ُ ُْ ْ َ َ َ ََُ َ ْ و ْب ل ا كآَ ؟ ُ َ َ Is there any helper with whom I can go on and on weeping and lamenting? MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM وع فَلُ َسلع َد َج َز َع ُه ٍ َه ْل م ْْ َج ُز ا َذا َخلَ ؟ Is there any lonely mourner whom I may accompany to mourn when he mourns in loneliness ? MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM لع َدتْ َهل س ف ْ ن ع ت ي ذ ق ل ه َ َ ْ َ َ ٌ َْ َ َ ع ن َ ع ي ق ْ ل ا ى ل ذى ؟ َ َ َ َْ َ Is there any eye that has gone white due to intensive weeping which my eye can also share? MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ك يَلابْ َْ أَ ْح َم َد َسب ْن ٌل َ َه ْل الَْن ت ف ل قى ؟ ْ َ ُ َ O’ Son of Ahmad! Is there any possible way through which this servant of yours can meet you? MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ك بغَده َ م ل َ م و ي ل ص ت ي ل ه َ ْ َُ ْ َ ُ َ ْ َ ظى ؟ ح َ ف َ َ ْ َ Will we be able shortly to come over to you on your reappearance to which we eagerly look forward? MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM م َك الروية َ َتى نَر ُد َمََلهل َ َ َ ف ر وى ؟ َ َ ْ َ When shall we be able to drink from your streams to quench our thirst? MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ك م َ تى نَ َْتَق ُع م ْْ َع ْذب َمآئ َ َ الص لل ط د ق ف دى ؟ َ َ َ َ ْ َ When shall we get to drink your sweet and soothing water of seeing you as our thirst has lasted too long? MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ك فَ َُق ُّر م َ ك َونُ َراو ُح َ ْتى نُغَلدي َ َ َع ْن َل ؟ When shall we be in your company morning and evening to delight our eyes of your sight? MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ت م َ تى تَ َرانَل َونَ َر َ َاك َوقَ ْد ن َ ش ْر َ َ ل َوآ ص َْ ل ا ت ر رى ؟ ُ ْ َ َ When shall you see us and we see you and achieve final victory? MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ُّ َ ت تَ ُؤُّم ن أ و ك ب ف أَتَ َرا َن نَ ُح ْ َ َ َ َال َْم َل When you fulfill every promise giving joy and confidence MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ْ َ ض َع ْدل ر أل ا ت أل م د ق و َ ْ َ ْ َ َ َ At that time we see you having filled the earth with justice MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM َ َ آَ َك َه َوانل َوع َقلبل د ع أ ت ق ذ أ و ْ َ َ َْ َ َ and made your enemies taste disgrace and requital MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ْحق ل ا ة د ج ح و ة ل ت ْا ل ا ت ر َب أ و َ َ َ َ َ َ َ َُ َ ْ َ َ and having destroyed all rebels and deniers of truth MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM َْ ْت َداب َر ال ُْمتَ َكبري َ َوقَطَ ْا َْ ول الْظللم ْن ا ت ث ث ت اج و َ ص ُ ْ ُ َ ََ ْ َ and that you have wiped out the last remains of the arrogant people and uprooted the foundations of injustices; MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ْح ْم ُد لْله َرب ل ا ول ق ن ْ ح ن و ُ ُ َ َ َ ُْ َ َْ ال َْاللَم ْن and we say “ Praise be to Allah the Lord of the Worlds” 1:2 MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM لف الْ َك ْرب ُ ت َْكش َ ْالْل ُهم أَن و ْب ل ا وى ل ْ َ َ َ O’ Allah You are the Remover of all agonies and calamities MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM وى د ْا ل ا ك د َ ا ف ي د ا ت َس أ ك ن ل ا و َ َ َ ْ ْ َْ َ ْ َ َ َ َْ and You are the One whom I complain to against injustices MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ُّ ب اآلخ َرة َو َ الدنْ نَل ن أ و ُّ ت َر ْ َ َ and You are the Lord of the next and this world MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ْْ لث ال ُْمثْتَغ ْنث ْن ْ فَلَغ َ َث يَلغن ع ب ن ْم ل ا ك د ب ت لى َ َ ُ َ ْ ْ َ ُ َ so help, O’ Helper of those who seek help. Your slave is afflicted MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM وى ق ْ ل ا د ي د ش ل ي ه د ن س ه َر أ و ُ َ َْ َ ُ َ َ َ َ So let him see his master, O’ Possessor of the Mighty Strength MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM َ ْ وى ْج ل ا و سى أل ا ه ب ه َ ع ل َز أ و ُ َْ َ َ َ َ َ And through him remove Your servant’s grief and sorrow MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM لى ال َْا ْرش ع ْ م ل ي ه ل ن ل غ د ر ب و َ َ ْ َ ُ ْ َ َ ََ ْ َ ْس ل ا ت وى َ َْ And calm his burning heart; O’ You who have established Yourself ‘Arsh MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM هى ت َ ْم ل ا و ى ا ج ْر ل ا ه ن ل ا ْ م و َ ُّ ْ َ َ ُ َ َ ْ ْ ْ ََ And the One to whom everything will return and end MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ألل ُهم َو نَ ْح ُْ َعب ْن ُد َك الْتلئ ُكو َن ا ك َ لى َولن َ O’ Allah we are Your loving servants extremely eager to see Your representative MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ك ن ب َ ب و ك ب ر ْك ذ ْم ل ا َ َ ََ َ ُ Who will refresh our minds with Your and Your Prophet’s remembrance MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ص َمة َوَملذا ع ل َ ل ه ت ق ل خ َ َ ْ ْ َ َُ َ And whom you have created as our savior and defender MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM َوأَقَ ْمتَهُ لَََل ق َوامل َوَم َالذا and made him our protector and refuge MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM َو َج َا ْلتَهُ ل ْل ُم ْؤمَ ْن َْ مَل ا َململ And appointed him our leader and guide MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM فَ بَ لغْهُ مَل تَحنة َو َسلَمل So O’ Allah convey to him from us our sincere greetings and salutations MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ك يَ َلرب ا ْْك َرامل ال ذ ب ل ن د ز و َ َ ْ َ َ And through these greetings, enhance our honor MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM اج َا ْل ُم ْستَ َقرهُ لَََل ُم ْستَ َقر َوُم َقلمل و ْ َ And make his place (in Paradise) a home and a resting place for us MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ك ايلهُ أ ََم َلمََل َ ك بتَ ْقديْم َ ََوأَتْم ْم ن ْا َمت And give him precedence over us in completing Your Bounties on him MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM َك َوُم َرافَ َقة َ ََحت َى تُور َدنَل َجََلن ُّ ك آئ ص ل خ ْ م َدآ ه ْش ل ا َ َ َ ُ ْ َ Till you grant us a place in Your Paradise and the companionship of martyrs from among the pure people MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ٍ لى ُم َحمد َوآل ع ل ص م ه ْل ل ا َ ُ َ َ ٍمحمد َُ O’ Allah bestow Your blessings upon Muhammad and his Progeny MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ٍ لى ُم َحمد َجده ع ل ص و َ َ َ َ ك الْسند األَ ْْكبَر َ َوَر ُسول And bless his, (Imam’s) grandfather, Muhammad Your Messenger and the elder leader MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM َ صغَر أل ا د ن ْس ل ا ه ن َب أ لى ع و ْ ْ َ ََ And upon his father (Ali) the younger leader MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ب ك ْ ل ا ة ق ي د ْص ل ا ه ت د ج و ُ َ َرى فَلط َمة ْ ََ َ ْ ٍب َْت محمد َُ And his grandmother, the great truthful, Fatimah, daughter of Muhammad MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM صلى الْلهُ َعلَْنه َوآله َ Your blessing upon him and his Progeny MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ت م ْْ آبَلئه ْ م لى ع و َ اصطََْ ْن ْ َ َ ََ الْبَ َرَرة And upon those whom You have selected from among his virtuous ancestors MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM َ ض َل َوأَ ْْك َم َل ف أ ه ن ل ع و ْ َ َ ْ ََ And on him (Imam) bestow the best, the fullest, MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM َوأَتَم َوأَ ْد َوَم The most perfect and everlasting MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM َوأَ ْْكثَ َر َوأ َْوفَ َر The most complete and countless blessings MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ٍ ك آئ ن ْ َص أ ْ م د ح أ لى ع ت ن ل لص م َ َ َ ْ ْ َ ََ َ َْ َ That you have ever bestowed on any of Your virtuous MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ك ق ل خ ْ م ك ت ر ن خ و ْ َ َ ْ َ ََ َ And the best from among Your creations MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ه ن ل ع ل ص و َ َصلَة الَغَليَة َ َْ َ َ ل َا َدد َهل And bless him with endless blessing, MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM َوالَن َهليَةَ ل َم َدد َهل limitless in amount MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM لد ال ََ َمد َهل ْ ن ال و َ َ َ َ َ And limitless in time MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ْحق ل ا ه ب م َق أ و م ه ْل ل ا َ ْ َ ُ O’ Allah! Through him (Imam) establish the truth MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM َ ض به الْبَلط َل ح د أ و ْ َْ And destroy the falsehood MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ْ آَ َك ن ل َو أ ه ب ل َد أ و َ َ َْ And guide those close to You MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM َ َ آَ َك د ع أ ه ب ل ل ذ أ و ْ َ َْ ْ َ And disgrace Your enemies MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM صلَة َ ن و ه َ ب م ن ه ْل ل ا ل ب ص و ل َ و ْ ُ ُ َ َْ َ َ َ َْ ُ َ لى ُم َرافَ َقة َسلَْه ا ي د ؤ ت ُ َ َ O’ Allah! Establish a relationship of Love between us and him that will honor us with company of his forbearers MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM اج َا ْلََل مم ْْ يَأْ ُخ ُذ ب ُح ْج َزته ْم و ْ َ And let us be of those who always seek their company MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ث ف ْي ظله ْم ُ َويَ ْم ُك And stay permanently under their shelter MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM لى تَأْديَة ُح ُقوقه الَْنه ع ْ َع أ و َ َ َ And help us in fulfilling our duties to him MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM لعته ط ي ف لد ه ت ج إل و َ َ ْ َْ َ And in our effort to obey him MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM اجتََلب َم ْاصنَته و ْ َ And avoid disobedience to him MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ض ُله ر ب ل َ ن ل ع ْ َ ام و َ َ َْ َ ْ ُْ َ And grant us his pleasure MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ب لَََ َلرأْفَ تَهُ َوَر ْح َمتَ ُه ه و ْ ََ And bestow on us his affection and his compassion MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM آَهُ َو َخ ْن َرُه ع د و َ ََُ And his supplication and his every goodness MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ك ُ ََََملن َ لل به َس َاة م ْْ َر ْح َمت َوفَ ْوزا ع َْ َد َك So that through him we may receive Your Vast Mercy and achieve nearness to You MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM صلَتَ ََل به َم ْقبُولَة ل ا اج و َ ْ َْ َ And for his sake, accept our prayers MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ورة ْ غ م ه ب ل َ وب ن ذ و ُ ُ ْ ُ َ َ ََ َ And forgive our sins MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM عآَنَل به ُم ْستَ َجلبل د و َ َُ And answer our calls MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM سوطَة ب م ه ب ل َ اق ز َر أ ل ا اج و َ ُ َْ َ َْ ْ َ ْ َ And increase abundantly our sustenance MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ومََل به َم ْكْنة م ه و َ َُُ And lessen our hardships MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM َو َح َوآئ َجََل به َم ْقضنة And grant us our needs MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM َ ك الْ َكريْم ه ج و ب ل َ ن ل ا ل ب ق أ و ْ َ َ ْ َ َْ ْ َ And by Your honor, treat us kindly MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ك ن ل ا ل َ ب ر ق ت ل ب اق و ْ َ َ ُّ َ َ ْ ََ ْ َ َ And make us become near to You MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM َوانْظُْر الَْن ََل نَظْ َرة َرح ْن َمة نَ ْستَ ْكم ُل ب َهل الْ َك َر َامةَ ع َْ َد َك And look at us mercifully, so that we may accomplish our attainment of honor from You MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM صرفْ َهل َعَل ب ُجود َك ت ال م ث ُ َ َ ْ And never take it away from us, by Your Generosity MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM اسقََل م ْْ َح ْوض َجده و ْ َ And give us a drink from the Cistern of his grandfather MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM صل َى الْلهُ َعلَْنه َوآله َ May Allah bless him and his Progeny MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ب َكأْسه َوبنَده َريل َرويل َهَ ْنئل َس آئغل In his cup and by his hand- a sweet, cool, clear, soothing and satisfying drink MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM الَظَ َمأَ بَ ْا َد ُه After which we should never feel thirsty MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM َْ يَل أ َْر َح َم الْراحم ْن O’ Most Merciful of all mercifuls. MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ّ ُ ِّك َ الل ُه َّم ك ْن لِ َولِي O Allah Be for your deputy MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ْ الحجَّ ِة ْب ِن ال َح َس ِن َ The Hujjah, Son of Hassan MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM ص َلو ُت َك َع َل ْي ِه َو َعلى ابا ِئ ِه َ May your blessings be upon him and his ancestors MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM اع ِة َ ّاع ِة َو ِف ْي ُك ِّل َس َ ِف ْي ه ِذ ِه الس Now and at all times MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM َ َولِيَّ ََا َو َحا ِفظ ََا Master and Protector MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM اص َر ََا ِ َو َقا ِئدَ ََا َو َن And Guide and Helper MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM اص َر ََا ِ َو َقا ِئدَ ََا َو َن And Guide and Helper MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM َودَ لِ ْيالَ ََ َو َع ْي َن ََا And Proof and Guard MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM َ َ ُ َ ْ ْ ُ ض َك ط ْو َع ََا ر أ ه ن ك س ت َح ّتى ِ َ Until he resides peacefully on your earth MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM َو ُت َم ِّت َع ُه ِف ْي َها ََ َAnd ِو ْيالlet َطhim enjoy for a long time MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM
