CU I&T will happen at INFN in parallel to LAT I&T at SLAC and LAT
environmental testing at NRL to maximize efficiency and use of
resources
– INFN team currently at SLAC and supported by LAT-I&T to
• Integrate TKR and CAL on 1x1 bay (scheduled tomorrow)
• Test 1x1 tower on a GASU based test stand ( i.e. provides
external trigger and proper event timing)
• Ship 1x1 tower to INFN before end of the year to continue
development and test integration with ancillary systems
(primarily g-tagger and TRD)
• Define, collect and ship hardware for 1x4 bay integration
Discussion among subsystems people going in parallel to
– Define trigger and synchronization with ancillary systems
– Define XY table for CU support in the test areas
– Define requirements and implementation for a CU container for
operation in the beam area and shipment
– Define location of ACD tiles and impact on the shipping container
