General Information
 Projects/applications will be evaluated using the
following criteria:
 The importance of the project to post disaster
recovery of the applicant;
 The percentage of low-to-moderate income
persons served;
 The percentage of grant amount in relation to
applicant’s annual budget;
 The relative economic distress of the applicant.
General Information
 Grant applications will be accepted and awards
made until funding is no longer available. The
intent of the program is to provide the non-federal
share of necessary public improvements and/or
rehabilitation related to the 2008 presidentially
declared disaster (FEMA DR-1766). A minimum
of fifty percent (50%) of grant funds will be
awarded to projects that benefit at least 51% lowto-moderate income persons.
General Information
 Actual grant amounts are negotiated on a case by case
basis and the amount of assistance will be dependent
upon the factors described above.
 Maximum grant award is 25% of total FEMA approved
project costs.
 OCRA Certified Grant Administrator required.
 Maximum grant administration fee is 8% of grant award.
The allowable amount will be determined by OCRA on a
project by project basis.
