*We are finishing up our Lab Report Unit-the kids
have done an impressive job!
• In Science we will learn about the Moon and
Space and visit the Planetarium at the High
School
• In Science we will also learn about Balance.
• In S.S. we will learn about Earth Day
• *Our citizenship trait this month is “Choose
Honesty”

Reading Notes
*We are learning strategies for reading Non-Fiction texts and
learning about their Text Features.
*Students are continuing to meet in their book clubs and
discuss books in a series..
*Students should continue reading at home. Raz-Kids is a great
way to practice reading “just right books” at home.
Math Notes
This month we will finish; Unit 6 How Many
Tens? How Many Ones? We will then move to
Unit 7 Part of a Whole, Part of a Group which
focuses on fractions.
*Students should continue practicing their
Addition and Subtraction Facts.
