First day

After our arrival to Berliere school, we La were welcomed by two Henri and Gouthier.

students, Then, we got to know everybody, had an English lesson with 5th-form students and spent our first evening with host families.

Second day

On Tuesday we watched presentations of schools which belong to the COMENIUS programme.

After we had lunch, the photograph of the whole group was taken and visiting the school in La Berliere afternoon the bus took us to started. In the Lessines where we had dinner and visited Norte-Dame a la Rose The Hospital established in the 12th century.

In the end, we came back to the school premises where our host families were waiting for us.

Wednesday

At school we were at about 8.15 a.m. We had workshops about active citizenship there. We talked about politics, people and events we found the most important. We made the colourful hand prints on the paper and we had to say why those colours had been chosen by us.

At about 11 a.m. we had sports activities with students from 5th and 6th forms and we played volleyball.

In the evening we had some free time with families.

Fourth day and our visit to Brussels

Parlamentarium

POLISH TEAM On Thursday we had a trip to the capital of Belgium - Brussels. We experienced the European Parliament for the first time in our lives. Dynamic, interactive multimedia displays guided us through the journey of European integration.

In Parlamentarium we saw a lot of interesting things. For example, a wall with pictures of famous people.

On prepared a Friday show we of Comenius and role song, plays dance about Belgian Week. Then, we presented it in front of our hosts to say them thank you. It was a good idea to end our stay in Belgium.
