A Tour of Our School
Made by Joackim, Pernille, Susanne, Michelle, Martin, Kristoffer and Tonje
The School
Oppegård secondary school is situated outside Norway's capital, Oslo.
We have about 600 students, mostly between the ages of 16 and 19.
The Library
This is our library. Here, we
can borrow different books
and laptops so that we can do
our school work. The library
is also a place to hang out
after school when we need to
do some homework
The Cafeteria
This is our cafeteria. It's ran by a woman that we call «Kantinedama»,
and she sells dairy products, baguettes, fruits, muffins and beverages.
Every friday she makes her special home made cinnamon rolls.
The cafeteria is where we usually hang out when we have recess. This
is the place where you can meet people from other classes.
The Compound
The outside area of our school is pretty big, and at winter time, we all
love to have snowball fights and play around in the snow. In the summer,
the janitors put out tables and benches so that we can sit out in the sun.
The Gym
We also have a gym where we have our P.E. lessons. The gym is big
and contains a swimming pool and plenty of sporting fields.
