마르길란 도시는 우즈베키스탄의 견직물의 생산의
센터이다.
Margilan city – center of silk fabric production in
Uzbekistan.
마르길란 도시는 중앙아시아에서 공예직물을 생산하는
유일한 곳이다.
It is the only place in whole Central Asia with a
factory of handicraft weaving in it.

Atlas in Arabic means "smooth".
Khan-atlas is a dense luxurious silk with a
special type of weave and unique color.

• 카라쿨 모피의 발생지는 부카라 도시이다.
Place of Origin of Karakul fur – Bukhara city.
• 1907년까지 카라쿨 모피는 부카라 도시에서만
생산했다. (Until 1907 year Bukhara was the
only place in the world were Karakul fur was
producing. )
• 1907년에 부카라왕이 영국 대사한테 카라쿨 양
몇 마리를 선물로 주었다. (In 1907, a ruler of
Bukhara gave as a present several Karakul
sheep to a British ambassador.)
• In 1920, the ruler of Bukhara had to escape from
Russian conquerors to Afghanistan. He took
Karakul sheep with him.
• 1920년에 부카라 왕이 러시아인들 때문에
부카라에서 아프가니스탄 쪽으로 도망가게
되었다. 그때 그는 카라쿨 양도 가지고 갔다.
