instead of "man in the moon" it is the Jade
兔子 (rabbit) in the 月
Chang E and Hou Yi both wanted to be
immortal
Chang E receives a pill of immortality
from the emperor and Hou Yi steals it
Chang E then tries to capture Hou Yi as
she flies towards the 月
Hou Yi spits out the outer shell of the pill it becomes a 兔子 and she turns into a
toad
月 is most beautiful (漂亮) during Mid-

The Han people's army sent the message to
overthrow the Mongol's Yuan Dynasty (12711368) by writing it on the paper wrapped
around mooncakes (月饼)
The rumor was spread that eating 月饼 was
the only way to cure a new winter disease
The message read "uprising, at the night of
中秋节", and 大家吃月饼 ever since
