Goals for 2001-02
To address the needs of non-traditional and/or
at-risk students through implementation of
an “Intrusive Advising” program.
To reduce the number of “NC” grades
received by students by 25 percent:
• Students on academic probation for two or
more semesters must submit to Counseling
Office the Mid-term Progress Report before
advising/registration.
• Students will be advised to repeat classes in
which “NC” grades were earned.
To work collaboratively with the SGA and the
PIO staff and initiate a “catalog information
awareness campaign,” stressing proper class
withdrawal procedures.
(Statistics: Fall 2000, “NC” grades totaled
1,992. Major reason: Lack of knowledge
about withdrawal procedure.)
