Luggage:
Each student will be allowed one (1) checked
bag, and one (1) carry-on bag.
Checked Bags:
Must be brought to school Tuesday – March 5th
 Checked bags must be brought to auditorium before
7:30am or between 2:00 pm and 3:00 pm
 Checked bags will be thoroughly searched by
chaperones.
 Bags over 50 pounds may be charged an additional fee
by Southwest airlines. This would be the student’s
individual responsibility.
 Inappropriate Items found in luggage may be cause
for removal from the trip.




Carry-On Bags
 Carry-On bags must be brought in before school on
Wednesday, March 6th.
 Carry-On bags will be searched by chaperones AND
TSA.
 Please familiarize yourself with TSA carry-on regulations
 i.e. Liquids – 3oz, etc (look on packet)

Tips for Carry-On
 Change of Clothes, Toothbrush, etc
 Bathing Suit (Appropriate for school function)




Photo ID is a must---NYS Driver’s License or School
ID.
Class T-Shirt.
Comfortable Sneakers – Lots of Walking and No
Whining Allowed!
Jacket/Sweatshirt



March Temperatures in Florida can be anywhere from 50 to
85 degrees.
Bathing Suit for pool, again School Appropriate!
Spending $$


Some Meals are not pre-paid
Souveniers, etc.

Arrive to School ON-TIME

Flight 1
 Students leave school approximately 6:30-6:45am
 Be at HS by 6:15AM
 Flight #38 Departs at 9:45

Flight 2
 Students leave school approximately 12:15-12:30pm
 Flight #326 Departs at 3:30

No Jokes At Security!

 Flight #3778 arrives in Islip at 8:00 pm.

Parents must pick up students at airport.
