in de onderbuik. Er wordt een dode foetus met een gewicht van 620 g* uitgedreven. Er
bleven geen zwangerschapsresten achter in de uterus.

Abortus – complicaties
•
Een patiënte werd opgenomen met een spontane abortus en een dilatatie en
curettage (D&C) werd uitgevoerd om mogelijke achtergebleven
zwangerschapsresten te verwijderen. Er werden geen zwangerschapsresten
gevonden, maar er waren tekens van een infectie van het kleine bekken.

(Spontane abortus gecompliceerd door infectie van de genitale tractus en van het kleine bekken)

Abortus - complicaties
• Een patiënte onderging een abortus. Eén week na ontslag wordt
ze opnieuw opgenomen voor endometritis.

(Infectieuze complicatie van de genitale tractus en het kleine bekken na abortus)
• Een patiënte onderging een geïnduceerde abortus. Enkele dagen
na ontslag uit het ziekenhuis wordt ze opnieuw opgenomen
omwille van septicemie. Uit de hemocultuur wordt een E. Coli
gekweekt.

Abortus - complicaties
•
Een patiënte onderging tijdens een vorige opname een spontane abortus. Er
werd tijdens deze opname een ernstige hypothyreoidie vastgestel, op basis van
subacute thyroiditis. Ze wordt twee dagen na haar ontslag opnieuw opgenomen
omwille van persisterende hevige vaginale hemorragieën. Deze hemorragieën
worden in de hand gewerkt door de hypothyreoidie die nog niet optimaal
behandeld wordt.

Abortus - complicaties
•
Een patiënte onderging tijdens een vorige opname een spontane abortus. Er
werd tijdens deze opname een ernstige hypothyreoidie vastgestel, op basis van
subacute thyroiditis. Ze wordt twee dagen na haar ontslag opnieuw opgenomen
omwille van persisterende hevige vaginale hemorragieën. Deze hemorragieën
worden in de hand gewerkt door de hypothyreoidie die nog niet optimaal
behandeld wordt.
