Haiku

A bird leaves its nest
A bird learns to fly
Spreading your wings
Laughing brings happiness
Laughing is human
Normality

Slide 3

The red wheelbarrow poem
So much depends upon a strong bed
It catches me when I fall
Beside my wall
So much Depends upon an ancient clothesline
It squeaks as it dry's the clothes
Beside my toes

Slide 4

Ekphrastic
The salty wind crushes against the
flattened clocks, the abandoned
island comes to an end, while there
is still the remain of the strong, long
ocean and the cool breeze flows
among the fresh sea air.

Slide 5

Struck by a moment
The car screeches, she is mesmerised by the

drive off as if it was an accident, her face
appears with disappointment and shock as she
remembered it was supposed to be a lovely
day.

Slide 6

Metaphor
Happiness lights everybody's faces and brings
the sunshine into our world, Happiness the Joy
