 The main objectives are to:

Provide recognition at different stages of improvement

Encourage organisations to apply the Excellence principles

Provide a structured approach to measuring improvement

 It creates an internal stimulus to continue the drive to maintain

Purpose of a Site Visit
 To acquire the information needed in order to provide the
most value-adding feedback to the organisation being
assessed, by:

Confirming the validity of the written information and data
already seen and analysed;

Clarifying any unclear aspects within the written
information and data;

Gathering new and additional information and data;

Gaining a sense of the atmosphere in the organisation;

Providing the input to arrive at the final assessment
findings and the Scores.
