Living in and for the
Living Lord
St. Peter
Worship at
Key to Life
Saturday, May 24, 2014
Welcome to
St. Peter!
We welcome you to the house of the true and
living God for worship. Our services this
Sixth Week of Easter encourage us to live for
and to live in our risen Lord Jesus. He
comes to us this morning with his body and
blood in the Sacrament of the Altar to forgive
our sins and to empower us to live for him.
On this Memorial Day weekend we also
thank God for all those who have served or
are serving currently in the armed forces.
Welcome to
St. Peter!
There are friendship registers at the end
of each row of chairs.
Please take a moment to give us your
information so that we have a record
of your time with us today.
Thank you!

If you have questions, let us try to help.

Prayer before Worship
O Lord, you are the only true and
living Savior. Thank you for laying
down your life on sin’s battlefield
for us. Help us honor you by living
each day to your praise. Amen.
Please be
courteous and
silence all
pagers and
cell phones.
Thank you
OUR COMMUNION PRACTICE
In the Sacrament of Holy Communion,
Jesus gives us his true body and blood.
We express unity with our Savior and
those who share our faith and stand on
the teachings of God’s Word.
Therefore, we invite to our altar those
who are members of our church or the
WELS. Visitors and guests who wish
to commune are asked to speak to a
pastor before the service begins.
On this Memorial Day weekend, we
take this opportunity to thank you
for your dedicated service to our
country to preserve the freedoms
we enjoy this day. May God
bless you all.

Psalm #66
(Spoken)
Pastor: Shout with joy to God all
the earth!
All: Sing the glory of His name;
make His praise glorious!
Pastor:
Praise our God, O
peoples, let the sound of His
praise be heard.
All: He has preserved our lives
and kept our feet from slipping.
Pastor: Come and listen, all you
who fear God; Let me tell you what
He has done for me.
All: If I had cherished sin in my
heart, the Lord would not have
listened;
Pastor: But God has surely
listened
All: And heard my voice in
prayer.
All: Glory be to the Father and
to the Son and to the Holy Spirit,
as it was in the beginning, is
now, and will be forever. Amen.
