Four Boys Burials

 What we know:  On February 28, 1884, 4 boys went hunting by the Steele and Johnson powder magazine.

  A powder magazine is a wooden holder for gun powder. It can be explosive William Abney, 17, William Mallus, 12, Jack Stitt, 10, and Christian Madsen, 19, were hunting when an explosion or an unexplained accident of some kind killed all four.

Spanish-American War Memorial  What we know:  This is a monument and statue erected to honor the Spanish American War dead in the cemetery.

  The monument used to sit right next to the circular turnaround that holds the flagpole.

It was stolen back in 2008 and has not yet been found.
