Because of RTS’s relationship with the State of West Virginia, the first conversion is mapped to the Transitions Solution. RTS lesson plans have been converted to use the Transitions products as the online research tool for students to complete key education and career exploration and planning activities. •The RTS Lessons will be available on the site and can be downloaded by Individual Lesson/Unit/Complete Grade Level Each Lesson plan includes: •The BIG Idea •Agenda with Timed Activities •Materials List •Lesson Objectives •Overview of Student Learning •Preparation for the Lesson •Background Information and Research on content •Vocabulary •Implementation Options •Student Handbook Pages •Facilitator Pages •Additionally, each Unit includes a Planning Pyramid and Family Newsletter There are a variety of Facilitation Models depending on the programmatic structure of the users. •Classroom facilitation as a career guidance program •After-School programs •21st CLLC •Summer Camps •Workshops •Independent Living Courses •Foster Care •At-Risk Youth Programs •College Freshman Orientation •Project Based Units What is How can it be used with XAP’s Suite of Products? • When will it be available? •When will the RTS Curriculum be available for use with my programs? The Roads To Success curriculum is a tool XAP is beginning to incorporate into our solutions which can be used to empower young adults to make education and career choices that match their individual skills and interests. The program material is designed to span the critical years of adolescence, helping young adults explore college and career possibilities, develop education plans, and understand their own role in achieving success.
