Tips and tricks for reporting leave:

• If no leave is used you must enter “NO LEAVE TAKEN” • If you enter ANY type of leave during the month there is no need to enter “NO LEAVE TAKEN”.

• DO NOT enter Legal Holidays – they are automatically generated.

• If you work a legal holiday, please have your supervisor contact your payroll specialist to bank those hours for you.

• If you are reporting multiple days, we suggest entering the requests separately.

• When you report 4 hours of leave rather than 8 hours, please select “Entry type = Hours per day” (from drop down triangle), enter 4 hours.

• Sick leave (UNC) should be used for ALL sick leave. Do not select “Hourly Sick Leave (UNC)” • Do not use the SAVE button when submitting requests, always choose SUBMIT.
