Millennium Notices
• Millennium will offer the ability to produce
the following types of circulation notices:
•Overdue •Hourly overdue •Recall •Hold pickup/cancellation •Paging slips/Item paging lists •Bills/fines
You must CLOSE to create a new type of notices.
Sorting must be done prior to preparing notices

Millennium Editor Features
More intuitive interface

What is the Millennium Editor?
Editor used by all Millennium modules: MilCat (Quick Edit mode) MilSer (Serials Checkin mode) MilAcq (Orders mode) MilCirc Search/Holds mode Circulation Desk Edit mode
To navigate/edit in a record: tab, arrow keys, or click on field.
Double clicking on the fixed field’s value area brings up a selection (dialog) box
Keying the first character (i.e.,‘e’) jumps you to that part of the list.

Refresh record (View menu)
Colors indicate need for field data and errors
Option to display multiple windows (Admin>Settings>Windows)

You can view the boolean search criteria for any lists created in Millennium.
SORT BY HEADER. Here, I’ve sorted by ‘Name.’ Clicking the header twice puts WLC’s lists at the top.
‘SEARCH RECORDS’ button
Show Records allows you to edit individual records from lists.
Other PRO’s of Mil Lists
Displays all field and boolean operator choices Pull-down menus to select search options (i.e., search by range or index, etc.) Lists themselves run FASTER Saving a list is easier (Tab/Button)
Text-based is done BEFORE you start searching (%) Continue working in Millennium Can STOP or SUSPEND a list

Text-based users may find this method SLOWER
System just STOPS when a list gets full
No warning message; same as text-based
“LIST Records” is Mil name for “printing”
No record numbers to gauge when list will be done
