In Romania the Danube River has a length of 1.075 km., which means cca.44.4% of the
total navigable length. On the Romanian sector Danube is divided in two parts according to
the navigation clearance:
1. River Danube (km. 1,075 – km.175)
- sector with retention regime (km. 1,075 – km. 863)
