The NEWADA initiative
Contribute to a harmonized level of service
in waterway management on the Danube and
its navigable tributaries
Background
NEWADA duo is a follow-up project of NEWADA
It ran between 2009 and 2012
and contributed to:
– An intensified cooperation on hydrological and
hydrographical tasks
– Improvement of the physical accessibility of the
waterway infrastructure
– Enhanced access to ICT networks and services
– Integration of responsible stakeholders and increased
cooperation
