Qualifying for the Opportunity…
• A senior ranking in the top 1/2 of the senior class (based
on eleventh grade class rank after first semester)
• A senior scoring above the fiftieth percentile on a
nationally normed standardized test, such as PLAN, ACT,
PSAT, SAT
• A junior ranking in the top 1/3 of the junior class (based
on ten grade class rank after first semester)
• A junior scoring above the seventy percentile on a
nationally normed standardized test, such as PLAN, ACT,
PSAT
• A sophomore ranking in the top ten percent of the
sophomore class (based on ninth grade class rank after
first semester)
Continuing qualifying and
enrollment process…
• Register for CaSH classes during on-line
registration (2/26 through 3/6)
– This will alert the guidance office you wish to
enroll in CaSH courses
Next Step…
• Complete on-line application for Anoka
Ramsey Community College
NOTE: If you are currently taking CEP classes during the 2014-2015 school year,
DO NOT complete the application process again.
– Instructions to complete the on-line application were included in
your email (handouts)
– Write down your STAR ID and password - you know it!!
– Submit copy of application status page to guidance office - status
will state - In Progress or Pending
– New guidelines have been established by ARCC-all students must
complete the application process before taking the Accuplacer
test.
Next Accuplacer Test…
• Sign up in the guidance office to take the
Accuplacer test
NOTE: Current 2014-2015 CEP students who wish to re-test in areas
in which they did not receive a qualifying score may sign up in the
guidance office to re-test that area.
– ARCC personnel will come to SHS campus to administer test
– Test dates
• Wednesday, March 25, 8:00-10:00 am or 12:00-2:00 pm
• Thursday, March 26, 8:00-10:00 am or 12:00-2:00 pm

More Accuplacer Test
Information…
– Test is taken on-line
– Test will cover the following areas; English
reading/comprehension, elementary level
math, and college level math
– You must receive qualifying scores on the
Accuplacer test to qualify to take CEP classes
– Results are available immediately after
student completes the test
– Sign-up sheets are available in the guidance
office
