Task #1
There are many things to analyze and evaluate when making your college
choices so we are planning ahead because "failing to plan, is planning to
fail." You may not realize, but some of the decisions you are going to
make in the coming years are going to impact the rest of your life....
So, what to do:
1. Research 2 to 3 colleges of your choice. At least two schools need to
be in Texas. Remember if you are graduating on a minimum graduation
plan that you will need to start off at a junior/community college. Then
transfer to a 4 year college from the junior college. (You can use websites
on the next page of the power point)
2. As you travel through each school virtually, you must take notes. You
must create a "T-Chart" of advantages and disadvantages of each
school. There must be a minimum of 5 pros and cons for each school.
If you don’t know what collegesyou might use this website to
search colleges.
