Child Left Behind Law. Title I
requires that schools create a
positive and supportive learning
environment that results in high
levels of achievement for all
students.

Purpose
To partner with families in an effort to
provide Kingsbury students with a
home/school/community environment that
helps children achieve academic
excellence.
All parents who registered their child
should have received a Family Engagement
Plan.

A teacher’s professional qualifications
Type of degree or teaching
experience
A paraprofessional’s qualifications
Parents Rights
Receive information on child’s achievement
level
Right to transfer to another school if a victim
of a violent crime
Right to public school choice and supplemental
services if child’s school is identified for
school improvement
Right to be informed if child is being taught
by a teacher who is not highly qualified 20
days or more
