A little history.
Milanówek was built at the turn of the 19th and 20th century. From its beginning, Milanówek was mainly a summer resort for the rich from Warsaw, who very often built magnificent summer houses here, which often, when the owners decided to move to Milanówek, turned into splendid villas. During the Warsaw Uprising the most important organs of the Polish Underground State moved to Milanówek, and thanks to this fact it was called little London.
