righteousness” (Romans 4:5).

Salvation is without any works of self-righteousness!
Eternal life is a free gift from God, paid for by Jesus’ literal
precious blood… “Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not
redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your
vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But
with the precious blood of Christ…” (1st Peter 1:18,19).
We need JESUS’ RIGHTEOUSNESS to get to Heaven… “For he
[God the Father] hath made him [God the Son] to be sin for us,
who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness
of God in him” (1st Corinthians 5:21).
We need HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS… “But seek ye first the
kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these
things shall be added unto you” (Matthew 6:33).
We are all dirty, rotten, hell-deserving sinners and have NO
righteousness of our own to offer God…

the wind, have taken us away” (Isaiah 64:6).

We are GUILTY of violating God’s holy Law and deserve to be punished
in the fires of Hell; but thanks be to God, He sent His only begotten Son
into the world (God in the flesh) to pay for our sins with His own blood…
