In Robotics Class We will…
 Become very familiar with the Engineering Design





Process (Define a problem, Research, Specify
Requirements, Brainstorm Solutions, Choose the
best solution, Development, Build a Prototype, Test
and Redesign )
Use engineering Technology to solve problems
through design and programming
Collect and analyze data
Design and develop 3D CAD models
Work as a group & team to build a robot to perform
specified tasks related to the FTC game challenge
Take the completed robots to FTC competition
events
How to do well in the class
 Contribute to your group and get involved
 Complete and turn in all assignments on
time
 Ask for help when needed and before the
due date
 Participate during class instruction
 Review posted materials and resources
Help………….
I am available before school and during lunch
 Students should contact me if they need
assistance on assignments or if they would
like additional time on class
 Communication is key – I encourage the
students to contact me if they are struggling
with any of the concepts
