Trans Partnership - date for next mtg established - DN

TDA - questions emailed, will meet 9/26 - JW
TC Office of Plng and ED - has questions - RH
City of Brevard - will be contacted - DW
Town of Rosman - will be contacted - BH
InterBike Trade Show
This represents economic dev well beyond tourism
Mfg for high end bike parts is a big opportunity
DB recommends path of least resistance to invite here
IEDTF will not attend trade show
Brand and Marketing defn's
Brand - that which makes you distinct from others,
can be valued financially
Marketing - process of comunicating with customers
when you don't communicate they will make stuff up
Transylvania can have bad connotation - connect to real meaning

Agree that brand could more clear and consistent
Web presence is challenged - need blog with daily pic, weather, etc
Blog needs data analytics
Brochure not high priority, except for trade shows
We should support campaigns we don't own - e.g. Native Eye Wear
Remember 80/20 Existing/New business support
Required balanced approach to market to new companies with
growing existing companies
