small and medium municipalities, forestry
and park management as well as surveying
of utility infrastructures can benefit from
EGNOS.

Galileo will drive dual frequency capacity and accelerate global coverage together
with GPS.
Higher elevation of satellites and their number guarantee better availability of the
service worldwide

1. Are there Galileo enabled receivers certified for CAP field
boundary measurements?
2. Which is the maximum internal error for the receivers
imposed by EU Regulation for CAP?
3. Cadastral surveys are important for restoration work after
natural disasters. Do you think of any other mapping
application that can be used for such a situation? Can you
think of other applications for Cadastral surveys?
4. Do you know of any initiative from mapping communities
that are fostering the use of GNSS devices in their specific
interests (such as Open Street Map or Google Map Maker for
general purposes)?
