•Master contracts for post-storm
activities will ensure best price
(avoid price gouging) and service,
i.e., debris removal, roofing,
drywall, hazard mitigation and
after storm assessment.

Full-time Emergency
Management Position
•A fulltime position at each university
dedicated to emergency management is
needed due to:
 the increased demand to anticipate and respond
to emergencies;
 to better ensure the safety and welfare of the
university community and its facilities; and;
 additional requirements at federal, state and
local levels to better coordinate responses to
emergencies.
