NEEDS ASSESSMENT PROCESS Step 2 Step 3 Step 4 Step 5 Step 1 Identify problem Needs & participants Identify academic areas of improvement based on state test data. By group or academic subject teams will select leader, assign roles for members to collect baseline data, monitor responses, look for gaps or problem areas, keep time on project, report out to other members before during and after needs assessment, progress, and results. Determine Design of Needs Analysis Conduct needs analysis comparing EOC Fall 2013 EOC Fall 2012 by subject areas. Identify areas of celebration and improvements. Each group will identify a common goal, design a plan; establish the criteria to be observed, the frequency the data will be collected and measured using charts and graphs and Liker Scale. Provide Feedback Collect Data Analyze Data EOC Fall 2012 Results Team: Interprets data, draws findings conclusions and recommendations, writes a report and creates a plan for implementation. EOC Fall 2013 Results Conduct surveys Team members report next steps and share information with the other teams. Determine common goals, provide collaborative support through content area PLCs and support systems needed.
