Digital Marketing Portfolio
Josh R. Singh
A bunch of cool stuff I’ve done – and
this isn’t even the half of it
 I’ve been doing it for the better part of a decade and I’m pretty darn good at it
 I make a lot of stuff:
 White papers, sales sheets & trade show materials
 Articles for blogs and website properties
 Websites, ads & landing pages
 Social media content and more
 I do a lot of stuff too:
 Marketing Strategy







Content Marketing
Search Engine Optimization
Social Media Marketing
Pay Per Click Ads
Email Marketing
Affiliate Marketing & Strategic Partnerships
Lead Generation & Sales
 Strategy is an often overlooked but key piece of marketing and content
creation
 At the outset of each content engagement, I develop a content calendar,
editorial calendar, and drive calendar for all content projects
 I am adept at collaborating with both internal teams and external agencies
 I have the project management experience to lead projects involving writers,
editors, other team members, internal stakeholders and external vendors
 And I’m not afraid to get down
into the trenches and do everything
myself when needed
 Example of a landing page I created to allow prospects to create
appointments with the sales team before the trade show
 Here’s a landing page I created and optimized using A/B testing
 Created strategy and concepts behind trade show poster series
 Created copy and design sketches
 Worked with graphic designer to create final product
 Sensing the theme here?
 Our booth was also underwent a ~100k makeover to be in line with our
modern theme. It was rad.
 I’ve written A LOT of press releases, which have found their way to the front
pages of major websites and news wires (by no accident)
 I’ve created white papers too, including doing the research, creating surveys
when needed, analyzing results, creating templates, and final production
 Created materials for sales teams, for trade shows, and for promotion
 For one engagement, I created a landing page with a free offer in exchange
for an email opt in
 Also created the offer itself, making it as valuable as possible
 Promoted the offer on social media, which was met with a ton of positive
response and engagement
 Set up an auto-responder sequence of 5 follow up emails to promote a paid
product
 Drove tons of traffic to sales page through this email marketing campaign
 Converted traffic very well on the sales page, leading to high revenue for
the engagement
Here’s the first email subscribers got after they opted in:
 The offer was promoted on email #2 through #5 (first email was the free
offer as an attachment, not a link)
 Insane open percentage and click through rate on promotion email #2
through #5
 Maximum visibility to the product page was achieved due to this high
open and click through
 Traffic to the sales page converted very well, leading to massive revenue
for the project
 These results occurred after only a few hours of investment on this
particular marketing initiative
 Created a matrix to organize email content based on audience and specific value
props
 Purpose was to test value props based on recipient interests
 Sent thousands of emails to each audience, segmenting the messaging
 Was able to discover which marketing messages were resonating with
which audiences and which weren’t
 Used that data to create custom content for each audience, including sales
sheets customized to each audience based on what they found valuable in
the product
 Built MemberSuite’s site and many more from scratch using both
Wordpress & Drupal, including SEO best practices in alignment with a sitewide content strategy
 Not too shabby of an upgrade, eh?
 Any site worth its salt has got to have a blog
 Created and shared interactive content boards with teams to plan
future content releases
 And of course, organizing that information via a calendar and
executing on it is key
 Expert in both on page and off page SEO
