 Eid Ul Adha is the Festival of the Sacrifice
 This festival remembers the Prophet Ibrahim’s
(A.S) willingness to sacrifice his son Ismail (A.S)
when ALLAH ordered him.
The time for Salat-ul-Eid starts when the sun
rises
Muslims offer Two Rak’ahs prayer of Eid on
open places or in Mosque.
Its special feature is the sacrifice of animals like
goat, sheep and camel etc. in the way of Allah after
Salat-ul-Eid.
Meat of sacrificed animal is divided into
three parts.
1- For poors
2-For relatives and friends
3-For your ownself
Eid ul Adha is a three day celebration
Everyone wears new clothes - in bright
colours and many have beautiful
embroideries.
- Yummy sweets and desserts are then
eaten to mark the occasion
Eid cards, gifts and money are often
exchanged
Friends and families like to get together
on Eid to celebrate the special day/s
