General Information:
We are hereby releasing the process of doing Hard Reset for Android phones.

Issue:
Sometimes ASC are not able to open the handset lock code or pattern lock in Android
phones through software upgrade.
An alternative method is to use Hard Reset. The procedure for doing Hard reset is also
mentioned in the phones user manual.
Note :
Hard reset will delete all the user contents like Multimedia, contacts, SMS, applications etc.
Customer has to be informed, before performing the hard reset.

Key combination for Hard Reset:
GT540  When the phone turns on & the lock screen displays, press & Hold the keys
Volume Up + Home + Search for five seconds & click OK when the pop up
appears to reset your phone.
P350
 In off condition, Press & hold Power/ Lock Key + Send key + Down Volume Key
for 10 seconds. Phone will turn ON & perform factory reset
P500
 In power off condition, Press & hold Power Key + Home Key + Down Volume Key
at the same time for about 10 seconds. Phone will turn ON & perform factory
reset
P990
 In power off condition, Press & hold Power & Volume down key for 10 seconds.
Phone will turn ON & perform factory reset.

 In power off condition, Press & hold Home key + Volume Down Key + Power key
for 10 seconds. When the screen shows LG logo, release the power key
When Hard Reset screen is displayed, release other keys.
Select “Yes” to reset. You can select Yes/No with volume key operation.
Leave the phone for about a minute when Hard Reset is going on.
P698  In power off condition, Press & hold Home key + Volume Down Key + Power key
for 10 seconds. When the screen shows LG logo, release the power key

E510  In power off condition, Press & hold Volume down key + Power key for about 10
seconds. When the screen shows LG logo, release the Power key. After a few
seconds, release the other keys when the screen shows Hard reset option.
Leave the phone for about a minute when Hard Reset is going on.
E730  In power off condition, Press & hold Volume down key + Power key with your left
hand. When the LED at the bottom of the phone lights up, touch & hold the Menu
key + back key with your right hand. This has to be done immediately before the
screen displays LG logo.
When LG logo is displayed, continue to hold the keys for about 2 seconds, & then
release all keys at the same time before LG logo disappears.
Leave the phone for about a minute when Hard Reset is going on.
P920  In power off condition, Press & Hold Home key + Volume Down Key + Power key
for about 10 seconds. When the screen shown LG logo, release the Power key.
When Hard Reset screen is displayed, release other keys.
Leave the phone for about a minute when Hard Reset is going on.
