• Index of Deprivation: Hull, Bradford,
Doncaster, Barnsley
• Cuts to local authority funding by central
Government: Bradford, Hull, Doncaster,
North East Lincolnshire

Prospects
• Mixed picture of income: falling income experienced
by all size organisations, but middle sized most
affected; future expectations mixed too
• Contracting: only 15% are delivering contracts – larger
organisations; many organisations not interested in
contracting
• Contribution: volunteering and smaller volunteer run
organisations tend to be in more rural areas
• Running on empty? Impact on local economy and
local employment
