What we have today-Domino 7
• Integration - Integrates business instant messaging,
allowing users to see who is online and collaborate in real
time from e-mail, calendar, to-do list and collaborative
applications.
• OS Flexibility - Supports a broad range of server
operating systems (Microsoft Windows®, Linux™, IBM
AIX®, IBM i5/OS®, IBM z/OS®, Sun Solaris), and
supports client options on both Windows and Linux
operating systems.
• Security - Comes with advanced and proven security
features, including virus protection capabilities,
server/local file encryption and digital signatures. Also
supports optional third party security and compliance tools.

Exchange), allowing for granular save and restore and
avoiding a single point of failure in the event of a hard disk
problem.

features such as advanced clustering technology that
balances workloads among multiple Lotus Domino servers
and provides failover for data as well as processor
resources.
• RAD - Provides a rich rapid application development and
deployment model
• Client Flexibility - Choice & Flexbility of client (Notes
Client, Outlook or browser)
