present these skills to employers.
Through interactive exercises, you will
learn to focus on your “transferable skills”
and learn to present your “self worth” to
employers.
Effective Job Search Techniques

New technology has changed the rules of
job hunting. The techniques that you
used to find your last job may no longer
be valuable in today’s labor market. You
will learn about the Internet and how to
access it for job search leads.
Effective Job Search Techniques

You will learn that the most successful
method for obtaining work is a planned,
coordinated approach that involves
knowing your skills and knowing what
fields of work utilize these skills.
Resume Techniques

Through interactive exercise you will learn
the critical components of resume writing
and the value they add to a successful job
search. Resumes place the emphasis on
who you are, what you know, and what
you have to offer.
Interview Techniques

This workshop demonstrates the concepts
and strategies involved in preparation for
job interviews. The employer point of
view is examined so that you can prepare
for the hard questions. This workshop will
prepare you to interview like an ideal
candidate and increase your chances of
getting the job.

Knowing your skills and their relationship
to today's job market will help you
