In some communities, the tradition of making tamales is
called a Tamalada is a time for sharing chismes, family
stories, recipes and preparations for the Holidays. A
tamalada definitely revolves around food and its
preparation. It also revolves around family, and
strengthening the bonds that already connect us to each
other.
