Solution • The Monarch Multitask Monitor or 3M is an inexpensive kiosk that will automate many simple tasks that all students will have to go through at some point in the college career. Solution Uses of the 3M: • Pay parking tickets • Replace student ID • Add pay for print pages • Add or drop a class • Print schedule • Purchase a parking pass • Modular system for location based service Benefits Automating simple tasks with the 3M will: • Free up lines across campus • Provide faster service to students • Allow services to be accessed on nights and weekends • Cut back on the amount of staff ODU must keep on the payroll • Allow students to handle many tasks without traveling across the entire campus Summery While saving time and money is important, so is providing quality service to the students who are going to use the service.
